Hey all, just wanted to let you klnow that I'm heading to the wilderness where I won't have any access to any of the technology that I am used to, haha. Where am I going? Well, our final desination is suppose to be a little place called Paradise River in Labrador, Newfoundland (population 18). from what I hear there ain't much there so I am assukming I'm not going to be getting 3G access or anything like that. I'll be signing off here shortly and heading out on my 7 day trek. It's about a full days drive, 20 to 24 hours but there is a bit of a break in there when we have to take a couple of ferries so we can nap and/or just get hammered.

I'll be back a week from this coming Monday so I guess we'll cya then!

Ciau!

GB

If you need me I'll be around here somewhere.

well I'm back. Only caught around 10 small trout. nothing to writer home about. We only got to fish for 1 of the days we were there because the weather was sooooo terrible. it poured the first day there but that's when I cought my fish. the next few days the wind was too high to flyfish. Winds gusted to around 60 Miles per hour which makes it hard for casting, hahaha. To top it all off I've been having troubles with the bad disks in my neck to when we were moving to our new campsite yesterday I got my father to drop me off at at airport we went by so I could head home. I must be in some serious pain because that on-way flight home cost me almost 500 bucks. Anyway, I'm home today and apparently the weather network is saying that it's beautiful where my dad is at today. g'damn weather!

hey i went on vaca the same time you did! kind of opposite type tho, disney world in 100 degree hotness standing in line all day long vs in cold, rainy, windy coolness sitting in a boat all day long :hilarious:

hope it was fun tho! :D

Sorry your vaca didn't turn out so great GB, miss ya on BF. You could have flown to Winnemucca and had more fun! :p

Well. This trip was a little more successful but didn't land the big trout we wanted to catch. I did however land a 24" Pike and had a much bigger one on a few times. Once again health issues plagued us a bit. The day before we went my dad threw his back out so his week sucked ass. We decided to come home a couple days early because of rain and his back and when we were driving back to civilization a wheel bearing in the truck went. We were lucky we were only 30 minutes away from a town. That woulda sucked being 300 kms in the woods hahaha. Anyway, I call this trip "successful with stress related issues". Fishing trips should be relaxing but this one was not.
