I really dislike the front of the steelbook, mainly because of all the text. Keep my fingers crossed for a different steelbook.

New pics from Gravity UK. At the beginning, really, i disliked this steelbook in hand. In fact to appreciate it, i made this new series of photos with a natural light source and no flashes.

The finish is very particular. The light and his quality is very important to emphasize it. Here, i think that we find tints seen in the movie.

First, In comparison with the French digipack

Now, with a naturel light. This isn't sound Photoshop markup

Just some info I found about Gravity:

Alfonso Cuaron’s space epic has become the UK’s fastest selling DVD and Blu-ray title of 2014 so far, according to the Official Charts Company’s sales data.

It’s won six BAFTAs, seven Academy Awards and took the Golden Globe Award for Best Director, and now Gravity can add the title of the UK’s fastest selling DVD and Blu-ray to its ever growing list of accolades, too.

Gravity has gone straight in at Number 1 on the Official Video Chart.

According to the Official Charts Company’s sales data, nearly 381,000 copies of Gravity were purchased during its first week on sale last week, beating the previous record holder for this year, Thor – The Dark World’s tally of 342,000 copies, week one. Blu-ray accounted for over 46% of Gravity’s first week sales.

In my opinion I thought the steelbook was very nice, but the movie was terrible!! Simplistic story, bad acting sandra bullock was a complete baby, no care of whether the characters died or not,
when she lands at the end it looks like she landed on a different planet,
BUT STILL ENDED UP WINING THE MAJORITY OF THE ACADEMY AWARDS?? So bad i had to fast forward it, but in the end it was hyped way to much for a terrible movie!! Plus side was the visual effects thats it other then that it was awful! 6/10 and 7.5 for steelbook!!

did you watch the same film as the rest of us? this movie is revolutionary it has changed the way to make films it's wasn't meant to be dialogue driven

I enjoyed the film mostly. My main issue with it was the heavy-handed birth/rebirth symbolism, which was about as subtle as a frying pan in the face.

Easily the best movie of 2013 for me followed by RUSH. I am so glsd that a sci-fi action movie wkn this many Oscars which is usually awarded to drama based films. A welcome change in trend IMO.:scat:

Btw feeling ashamed for being prejudiced about this movie earlier.

Got to agree! Gravity was immense. Rush is also second for me.

The steelbook was better than I was expecting.

The movie was a typical case of a film having way too much hype.

First 45 mins awesome. The rest was just average and a little dull.

Reminds me of a boxer than puts everything into the first 6 rounds, but has little left in the tank for the remaining rounds.

A 7/10 movie. Enjoyed Captain Phillips more.

+ 1...except for the director oscar that can be discussed(i truely believe it was given to him because of the technical aspect) all the oscars won were technical ones

I truly agree with you!! Everybody i've talked said the movie was crap I was just saving you the hour and a half of complete crap!! Not a good movie at all RUSH was so much better acting was incredible!! Like I said gravity had excellent visuals but it really is boring and you don't give a crap about the characters!! Sorry for any spoilers but i was saving you from a pretty bad movie!!
There is no way this movie was anywhere near an 8 maybe a 7 but still not even that high!!

Visuals are great! Crap cast, boring survival story almost as bad as After earth and you did not care if the main character died!!

For all those people who gave it a 9 or 8 are just thinking of visuals!! Was never a good movie!! The worst about it is that i had to fast forward it cause it was so boring!!

Nothing of this movie grabbed my attention and Rush was so much better you felt bad if one of them died thats how it should have been!!

12 years a slave is so much better probably my favorite alongside the dallas buyers club and the wolf of wall street.

Hell man of steel was better then gravity and there is so much hate for it and its the best superman movie created to date!

Still haven't got this steelbook yet. At first everyone was praising it and now loads of people are calling it overrated, boring or too short. 90 minutes or so does sound a bit short to be honest. But what do I know? It's subject to opinion, some call it revolutionary others mundane and dull.

The only opinion you should care about is YOUR OWN!! As that is all that matters like the Lone Ranger that got crap reviews I honestly loved the movie it all depends on the person!!

There is always gonna be hate and love for movies regardless!!

90 mins is fine. Look at zombieland. That was 90 mins.. they film can be 90 mins or 240 mins as long as it is interesting what does it matter?
