Bit of difference in price $34.99 to $22.99 in OP. Have I asked anyone to get this one for me, I've lost track !!!

34.99 is typically the "regular price" of a blu-ray steelbook release @ Best Buy. After the first week, a customer would have to pay the sticker price or wait until another sale.

Thanks to Wreck confirming that this was indeed a G1, I reorded through HMV, which kind of sucks, because the only disc I can I can usually watch is the BD. The others always seem to be region B. So I am going to put my G1 up for sale

Because the equipment to make steelbooks in the USA is only made for G1. (ohio) I suppose its very costly as to why they havent just gotten the equip here now as well. (for g2)

Im not so mad about this being G1, as from what I know ... supposedly we will start seeing more G2's. Now if the trend continues onward with G1 I guess I wil have to make a huge stink about it for our community's sake ... so lets hope we start seeing the G2s fly in. .... as that's what I've been told .....

As for Canada, expect to see some video game steelbooks coming that are g1. (but look awesome)

It just makes sense to make them G2 sized because that is the size of all blu-ray cases and being how in the beginning they wanted to make sure people knew the difference between blu-ray and dvd you would think there would be nothing but g2 sized cases. It is good to hear that the future looks good though.

I think what sucks most is when you have two cover versions you want to collect and one is G1 and the other is G2 (IE: Sucker Punch & Green Lantern), you can't even file them together on a shelf because it looks stupid!
