I've just had a look at this on the website, am i right in saying this is about £30 all in with delivery to the UK? I love this slip, might cancel my Zavvi one

I was charged £22.35 for the steelbook, so once you add postage then £30.00 is about right, well worth it for what will be a quality steel

In my opinion cancelling your Zavvi and ordering the Taiwanese Release would be a wise choice as this will be the best slip, best 1/4 slip again another stunning one from Taiwan.

Bloody hell mate, just had a look at your "My theater" page, that's some cinema set up you have there! :woot: I thought mine was good but that blows it out the water, ya must have dropped some large on that kit, top work  Nice steelbook collection too.

It cost a lot, but I also baby it pretty well and don't turn up too loud as I don't want to drop a panel on my ML's. Got to have a lot of power to run them properly.

I have just made my first order for this at JSDVD. I notice that there is only EMS shipping. Is there no way of selecting standard shipping as even though I have marked as low value with gift I believe EMS is more likely to get hit with customs fees.

When they charge you for shipping you will have the option for EMS or Airmail which is cheaper. Jsdvd only charge for the product upfront and you have the option to combine with a future order if you wish

Nice theater blu-steel! You have to love the electro-stats. Yes, they require a lot of power to drive, but they sure do sing when given the proper headroom. I have ribbon speakers in my dedicated HT, but I have always had a lot of respect for MLs.

As for this steel, I do love the Taiwan steels but I already have the Canadian version on pre-order. Not sure if I want to double-dip on this one. Decisions, decisions...

It's a beauty mate, wish zavvi would put that kind of effort in  Plus I love the look of JSDVD's wedsite, looks like I made it at college on GeoCities 1997 :rofl:EEK!:emb:
Yeah, That site is a humdinger! That drop-down menu needs some serious work though! Steelbooks and metal are way down the menu, and instead of a heading 'T.V. Shows' they just individually have them in the menu one by one! Sheesh! I made my judicious decision and cancelled my Zavvi order to go with these...They're just better looking.:D

Due to the very poor finish on the 2 previous Marvel Future Shop Release, I would go with the Taiwan Version which will have a nice steel, the title won't be on it but it does come with the Usual Taiwanese Killer 1/4 Slip cover. With the Taiwan release you cannot go wrong in terms of quality all around.

Looks like you got loads of unconditional love towards Taiwan Steels. [emoji1] However saying you can't go wrong in terms of QC is a bold statement considering that a vast majority don't even open them and aren't aware of what lies inside.

yes I never was let down in terms of quality...it is usually same steel as other country so in terms of steel it's the same (except north america releases), and slips are just so beautiful, they are true to what they are supposed to be, all in Traditional Chinese Characters that gives it the real Asia feel Release. Lots of thought is put in each design, they focus a lot in blending the 1/4 slip with the steelbook as much as they can. The Shrink wrap folded and very thick, nice sticker that goes well with the release, those are just details but they up the quality of the release. Side by side on a shelf they go very well together. Also when they release Futurepaks, they have improved the quality, some futurepak are very impressive.

But if it's not your cup of tea by all mean just go with a regular english written release.

And the quality of the shrinkwrap is the best I have ever seen...Not that cheap easily to tear stuff, thicker and fits snugly round the steel
