The actual design fits the steelbook concept no doubt about that but it does not scream out at marvel film aka guardians. Imagine how that spine will look on the shelf with all those other marvel steel. It would look like the case for a sound track of some random music biopic movie.

It's different and the music/mixtape is a nice, niche, aspect of the movie.

Way way better than crappy poster art or generic characters on the front.

I sorta get where they were trying to go with this, but from these images it really doesn't do it for me. Shame because the movie deserves so much more. If it was for the soundtrack I could understand it, but not for the actual movie

Surely though if you came up with this idea as a concept and thought

"Gee I have this great idea, how about if we do the Steelbook as Starlords walkman, like an exact replica"

Then you find out that you can do the idea HOWEVER you won't be able to use the same walk man because of legal issues...I mean you would just let it go right there since it wouldn't be the same walkman thus making your idea pointless.

Now that I know it's not a replica of his walkman I'm more confused then angry
