I have cut down a tremendous amount on my purchases.

Like anything, I enjoy getting a great looking steelbook, with a nice finish and a disc packed with special features, and am disappointed by others. I'm allowed to be disappointed I assume? Nothing I've said regarding GotG is unreasonable as far as I can tell.

Disney do seem to annoy a few of their customers, more so than a lot of other studios. Not just because of errors and the like, but they way they deal with them...

An edit to Avengers Assemble which they lied about before ending up on BBC's Watchdog
Flickering to Tarzan which they denied before issuing replacements which were better but not actually fixed
Scenes swapped in The Little Mermaid which was ignored
Dropping special features constantly

So, you'll forgive me if at times, I do get disappointed with some of their releases.
So stop buying them and sell your previous steels if that's a problem for you. That's the only way they will see any effect from your disappointment.

Do you think this Steelbook will hold its value? It seems impossible to know what books are going to be worth these days.

I'm confident with any Marvel steelbook that it will hold it's value once it's sold out - just look at the first X men film! Was available at Zavvi for £7 / 8 for months, as soon as it sold out it was going for £20+ on eBAY and now is pretty hard to find...

This is happening with quite a few Fox steelbooks. Still can't believe how much Wolverine Origins is going for on the bay.

All fool me for not buying it when it was £9.99 :(

Yeah I had that issue recently, ended up getting a mint sealed one for £20 off a legendary ninja - but i've seen it hit £45!

I reckon GOTG will be £35 soon but not really go further than that...

It might hold what you paid for it, but I cant see it going much higher, like some of the others.

Iron Man 3 can still be bought at cost or less very easily.

This art is so bad and seen so much hatred across the internet, I can't see this one becoming hugely collectable.

Despite so many hatred comments towards this artwork, i still saw it got sold at $96 on ebay, the seller got 3 copies and all 3 got sold. Well, i guess some people did really like it.

+ most of them realise, after its launched people will regret not grabbing it. never understand people who cancel something long before its released...you never know, what could happen then you're stuck without.
