I think they already did coz I picked up a copy of the 3D version the second time around.

Unless it was only the 3D version that was restocked so far?
3D was the one that was restocked when the 4K one went up for sale (and that sold out before I even knew it existed), because I resubmitted my order for the 3D one using a coupon, whereas it didn't work by the time I got around to it when it first went up for sale.

Sad fact is that this editon is absolute garbage, and anyone that thinks this is good is clearly a complete idiot BUT this is GOTG2 and its the UK edition which = THE most collectable version. No one cares about US or Asian versions, they might be Very nice, but bottom line the UK version is THE one to own as the UK is THE steelbook kings, and rightly so! Its taken decades for the UK to get a collectable that is superior regardless of art and this is THE version to own. Yanks that wanna moan feel free to speak to me and I'll remind you IN DETAIL of the 35 years of collecting US superior versions before the days of the internet on films and music, your days are over and it was about time you got taught a lesson. Bad art YEP! but the version to own YES! UK steels accept no substitite.

Just look at the secondary market which is where limited editions thrive, UK versions are the versions to own for Marvel bare steels. Laugh all you want I'm right, I'm ALWAYS right

I think it's because the majority of the Brits don't want to buy outside their country for whatever strange reason and so the high secondary market prices are mainly down to patriotic Brits who missed out first time around but won't import for fear of foreign languages or subs.

Personally I think those people deserve to pay triple the price for an English language J-card!

Absolutely agree, there should be no basic J card reissues and all real collectors should either have the phase 1 Marvels originally or have paid heavy to get them.

Ah but I wasn't collecting these when the phase 1 marvels came out but I'm a real collector now soooo ...........

Luckily I managed to pick up cap last year for £20. Still after iron man play steel and Thor HMV steel to complete all the UK MCU but I refuse to pay over £30 for them. I've been very lucky over the years to get some rarities for cheap. A lot from CEX which I inspect heavily when I see them (Managed to get HMV Drive, the thing, hulk, American werewolf, touch of evil for example and many more all for under £10 except drive and i remember about 2 years ago when i think it was entertainment store had like 20 copies of iron man 2 and I managed to grab one for £14.99 sealed) so patience pays off a lot for me and will continue that looking for Thor and iron man. I refuse to pay heavily for them. But yeah uk versions do go for more money than some Asian releases which is weird and mainly because most want a English j card. Whereas I couldn't give a sh*t about it

This steel is a total turkey, as mentioned it's not even well executed, I would say more poorly implemented than the Walkman for Vol.1.

As mentioned, the tape doesn't match the flow onto the rear of the steel, lazily designed and (getting pedantic I know) but didn't Rocket ask for some tape to go "over the button" so Groot couldn't push it, not tape and a pen so he could write him a note?!....

Said it before, looks like the cover of a children's story book, not a limited edition physical media for an adult.

"Does anybody have any tape out there? I wanna put some tape over the death button".

Yeah but then again, how do you actually stop a button from being pressed with tape anyway? And the angle, if that's gaffa tape then you can easily alter tape trajectory...:p

It's still an odd looking design for a steelbook but then it won't look out of place with the odd non-walkman "walkman" one I suppose. Lord knows what we will get for Vol 3...

I wish you can say the same for the England National Football team

I just hope these get shipped from the Guernsey warehouse in the Zavvi white boxes

I don't like Zavvi now shipping from various different warehouses across Europe with these European warehouses using basic cardboard mailers and longer delivery times added compared to quicker delivery times and Zavvi white boxes you get when shipped from Guernsey

The first guardians film steelbook mine arrived damaged and was just luck Zavvi had a replacement available

I don't want the issue of getting a damaged steelbook this time especially with them now shipping from different warehouses

Behave, it wasn't until recently that the UK Marvel steels had the film title on the side.
They were just international (non North American) editions with an English J Card.
