I'm pretty sure that there would be some sort of increase (possibly noticeable) in their international shipping costs if they would sell at VATless prices to customers outside UK.

They choose to present low shipping costs and same prices as for their UK customers.

Nothing wrong with that, it's completely their choice. Swings and roundabouts.

Personally, I'd prefer transparency and have 20% lower international prices while accepting corresponding higher shipping costs. It still doesn't necessarily follow that the total cost of my items would be lower than what it is today.

But hey, it's an optimization problem that a mail order retailer need to solve. Customers like low shipping costs, but the retailer still needs to pay something to the carrier (with big mail order companies it's obviously nowhere near consumer rates, though). The carrier also needs to survive, preferably even be profitable, with the income they get.

Very true If memory serves me correctly, the 20% vat removal from Amazon roughly equates to shipping charges,or thereabouts

I usually get dispatched the next day like normal (after charged) but they are quick to send this out. Hopefully get it by the end of the week

Still trying to figure this out, but when you are able to select express delivery it's being shipped from Cologne (I had this with Ghost in the Shell). Normal delivery option is shipped from Guersney....and then you have to pay a customs fee.
But in time the UK is not that interesting anymore for us Europeans.

It seems my CC is charged too!

I got another "payment problem" email from Zavvi, just like GITS. Lucky thing though as I thought I had cancelled so this was a lucky reminder. Cancelled this garbage.

Still, second steel from zavvi that has resulted in a payment problem.

I too had payment problems a few months ago. I was using my CC for a long time until it suddenly stopped working. Zavvi's (new) payment provider had issues with the dot "." in the name field. Removed it and everything's working fine since.

Yes, please! I've had the 3D version dispatched, but actually want the 4K version! Came up for sale and sold out before I was even aware it was an option!

BTW, if you DO get the 4K version by mistake, I would happily swap for you with my 3D version if that's what I end up with. I have no use for any 3D discs (and have swapped many out of my existing steelbooks for the 4K discs, giving the spare standard blu-ray and 3D discs to charity).
