Awesome GOTG collection buddy :woot::drool::thumbs:
Which is your favourite GOTG?

Steelbook design itself is the Blufans version.
Lenti is the Blufans Rocket and Groot slip.
Full slip is the Nova Choice slip.

Fab collection there. What is that Star Lord cover hiding behind the GotG2 steel?
Also you appear to be missing the standard Blufans GotG1 UE. :p

Haha the Starlord peeping Tom is the booklet from the recent Nova set.

What is the standard UE edition? All I want is a steel with a different design, they cover all that I think.... maybe?

The standard UE from Blufans had the group pose on the front and the Star Lord pic on the back. So the opposite to the one that you have which was released in a smaller quantity. Everything else about the release is the same though. :D

Wait.... Who has this edition that wants to trade for a Doctor Strange Blufans?

Just kidding! :D:p

You sure that group pic is the front of the UE?

Coz mine came with the data info sheet across the bottom of that so I assumed it was the back? I thought Starlord was the front.....

If I remember correctly I think some were switched around by accident during the packing/shipping process from Blufans end

Oh right. I never knew this.

The data sheet goes perfectly across the bottom of the group shot coz all that's underneath there is blackness anyway so you can still see the awesome artwork! :D

I thought it was designed that way!

Do you think I'm a little excited to grab Volume 2 Blufans?
Amazing collection!!!

Not knocking you whatsoever, but do you not feel you're missing out by not having access to the back, and inside artwork, as well all the fantastic extras by keeping them sealed?

Never got the mindset behind it all (again, this isn't meant as a negative, I'm genuinely interested to understand why certain collectors keep their collections sealed!!)

Part of me feels that way but only a tiny part of me. By keeping them sealed I can still see the artwork, although not as vibrant as I would like to see, but I don't yet display them in mass like most do. Keeping them sealed for me keeps them nice until I am ready to pop them out or move them on. I sometimes open the zavvi versions so I can watch the film. As far as extras go, I don't mind not opening them up because how many times realistically are you going to look at art cards or read a booklet through? I see them as part and parcel and being snug and nicely packed away and they too aren't going to be weathered or damaged. It's a little OCD and when I first began collecting I opened steelbooks but then when I became more engrossed (or obsessed?) I felt they should just remain sealed until 'that day' that never comes lol.

I can truly see both sides forand against opening them but for me as a 'collectors item' my preference is for them to remain sealed atm.

Also, I can see extras and embossing and the lenti effect etc through videos and pics. Not quite the same I know, but I don't feel like I am missing out really.

I don't even see how you can scalp this. I paid a total of $312 Canadian for everything in the Group Buy.
If this were to be put on eBay, what are you going to price it at? How much of a profit are you supposed to make on it? With eBay taking 10% of the selling price and of the shipping price, the Paypal fees...

I mean come on...isn't everybody just going to wait for it to tank anyway since there will be other premium editions?

everything can be scalped these days, even your wife...:p

If you look in the GotG 1 thread the pic of the UE has the group pose as the front image. https://www.hidefninja.com/communit...d-steelbook-blufans-exclusive-25-china.61183/

Also the fact that I have 2 of them myself (already had one then got the 1click at a little over cost) and both have the group pose as the front. :)

Another quick check - whilst holding the slip with the side that you remove the steel from the slip to the left, whichever image is facing you is the front.
