I don't even see how you can scalp this. I paid a total of $312 Canadian for everything in the Group Buy.
If this were to be put on eBay, what are you going to price it at? How much of a profit are you supposed to make on it? With eBay taking 10% of the selling price and of the shipping price, the Paypal fees...

I mean come on...isn't everybody just going to wait for it to tank anyway since there will be other premium editions?

Steelbook prices are always rising and falling. No doubt when Volume 3 comes out this will rise in price as will the original. Plus there are always going to be people who have missed out who will pay over the odds to complete the set no to mention every year there are new collectors joining in on the action looking to acquire all the releases.

My point was, people always blame everyone but themselves for missing out. Normally it's just assumed that scalpers have took them all which robs the "right" of a "true collector" to have any or all of a specific release in their collection.

Same old story, people miss out normally due to negligence on their part then look to start blaming others. The scalpers have yet to be brought into this who cost the 'true collectors' a chance at this. I don't buy the whole, 'we need more notice cause I work' spiel.. I work yet I can just check this site on my lunch break or after work. I even have a quick look before I go to work. You could give people a months notice and they'd still miss it. End of the day you snooze you lose, if you're not serious about keeping updated with the site or the group buy times then you're not serious about getting the release in the first place

I completely agree, and then the GB host gets aggro because of it as nobody wants to blame themselves.

People need to be careful here and not ruin it for everybody else. A host at anytime could say "stuff it, not worth the backlash".
That host SHOULD do a Group Buy to suit themselves because they need the time and patience to do it.

It really is that simple... notice was given but if you cannot come on here at the time and check then that is nobody's else's fault but your own (or maybe write a letter of complaint to your employer).
Phone's have notifications do they not? You can set an alarm on your phone to remind you of ANYTHING can you not?
People just can't be bothered to do it, then they forget that it went live, then they channel their anger at the hosts when they miss out.
Sorry to be so blunt but get off your arses and take responsisbility for your own lives.

As far as missing the group buy because you couldn't come on HDN goes (a whole separate matter to not having notice etc) employers cannot stop you going to the toilet, they aren't employing 10 years olds!



Thanks @cooey and other hosts that do Group Buys... some I personally may miss out on if I'm asleep for example and if I do miss out then it's tough luck on my part.

OK I don't want to ruffle anybody's feathers here.

I've read both sides of your complaints and I'll come back in a moment with my verdict.

But seriously, I don't think anymore complaining or lecturing at this point is going to make anybody feel any better. (except for themselves perhaps, but that's what therapists are for)

So I'm hoping at this point that everybody can move on now and not throw salt in any more wounds, learn from the experience and all be nice to each other. I don't want to play the "there are a lot more tragic events happening in the world right now" card. OK see now I did it.

I know. Until the next blufans group buy.

And yes, full disclosure, I purchased a One Click + 1/4 slip blind buy before this group buy.

I have 30 more of each single edition (UE, single lenti and full slip) to add. At the moment there are no more one clicks, but that might change a little later on.

I’ll be adding the first 10 of these at 11 o’clock today UK time and then will be adding in 10’s in batches two more times throughout the day.
