Separately I love both images, BUT (here I go banging on about consistency again ) together they both clash really bad IMO. I agree with those saying that the back should probably be changed... the front however is spot on!

I totally agree. The back doesn't fit to the front. I would even prefer the colours only on the back.

I do prefer those character posters and did want to use them in my concept, but there were just simply too many to fit on and I couldn't decide who to leave out lol. Hopefully BF use those ones anyway!

I'd be surprised if BF didn't have hold of it already, but if not, then here it is (just realised that it's quite low quality though) if they wish to use it and are given permission to by the studios, of course...

Well Blufans changed the Steelbook for TFA when enough people complained, maybe they'll change the back here as well....

Already cancelled my order with Zavvi, definitely in for this. Like others would prefer they amended the artwork on the back, but either way it's leagues better than the WWA

Thanks for the tag @harry! First glance I loved it! Especially the front But the back now, dare I say, I feel slightly disappointed with as it's not consistent (at all!) with Vol.1...

It's obviously not enough to put me off buying (LOL) but still a noteworthy complaint IMO as I expected some consistency with their Vol.1 steel. Regardless of what happens and if they decide to change it or not, this is still THE version to own! (BLUFANS ALL THE WAY! Right, @charleybusko? ). I just can't help but think how awesome it would be if BF would've used the image @Noodles posted earlier and used for his concept

That's how you get Embossing (well there are other ways too but it wouldn't work on this design)

At least the whole main image is inside the rectangle (apart from the alien tentacles), have seen some bad ones over the years where it cuts through characters

I don't know what that means. I have TONS of steels with embossing that don't have that little border on the front. You absolutely do not need that to have embossing.

Sounds like your getting confused with debossing

Like i said there are other ways to create embossing without having the rectangle border BUT you STILL need to create a border to create the embossing, it's just some designers get clever with it and uses the space around the title or character to create a border to then create the embossing
