For this very special release, Anchor Bay went back to the vaults to present this legendary terror classic as never before, including creating an all-new HD transfer personally supervised by the film's original cinematographer, Academy-Award® nominee Dean Cundey (Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Apollo 13, the Back to the Future trilogy), a new 7.1 audio mix (as well as the original mono audio), a brand-new feature length audio commentary by writer/director John Carpenter and star Jamie Lee Curtis, an all-new bonus feature with Ms. Curtis, as well as selected legacy bonus features from previous ABE releases. Available in a collectible limited-edition steelbook package.

Awesome! Yeah I wish Zavvi never got all the exclusives... This is a reasonable price for a re-master too! Will go great next to The Thing steelbook (the side is the best part of that steel!) and the Big Trouble In Little China steelbook whenever that comes out :)

I hope they dont get any new exclusives, useless company to deal with, a total mess, take an age to answer you and dont have a telephone line, amazon need more

I will buy what i want buddy

People buy things they dont like to finish a goal...its called collecting :oohyeah:

Im sure theres enough of a printrun to allow me to buy 1 copy and leave it sealed :)

Why collect things you don't like? You do this with limited runs too?

Back off buddy....my goal is all uk horror steelbooks not that i need to explain myself to you.

I open and watch all my steelbooks as i only buy what i like. Horror steels are the only ones i buy even if i dont like them but this is actually the first horror steel i dont like :naughty:

Not a very wise first couple of posts imo ;)

Orederd my copy!
Own the original release of this on Blu, hopefully the extras will be worth double dipping for!
Got the 4 disc DVD too which none of the blu's can beat for content.
