I tried to place an order on Amazon UK, but it said they couldn't ship to my address. I had Fast Five and Hanna in there, but it didn't say anything about not being able to ship FF. Does anyone have any idea why?

Maybe it's the zipcode. It should tell you what's missing in the address no??

I tried it out of curiosity, and I'm getting the same thing.

"This item cannot be shipped to the address you selected. (Learn more.) You may either change the shipping address or remove the item by clicking Delete."

Maybe Hanna doesn't want to step foot in the U.S. She's afraid for her life ;) :D

Well I got a few coming so there may be a source after all Robert. I think this happens when they have too many pre-orders. I expect some of mine will be cancelled but cannot be sure. At the time HMV were charging £23.99 so cancelled might order a few more through them.

Amazon UK must be having an issue witht this title as it wont even let me place the pre-order.

Someone mentioned earlier in this thread, I think, that it might be because the disc is listed as Region C.

Has anyone e-mailed customer service yet? I'll send them a note about the listing and see if they can help.

Below is what I sent them...

Hello, I'm trying to place an order for the Hanna Limited Edition Steelbook and the system will not let me place the order.

This is the item: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0056AJK64/?tag=hidefnin-21

I've noticed that the product title states: "Hanna - Limited Edition Steelbook Triple Play (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy)[Region C]"

I am able to proceed through the entire check out process - EXCEPT when I get to the confirmation page and I click the order button - the system never takes me past this page and my order is never confirmed.

I've been in contact with other amazon.co.uk customers who would also like to order this steelbook, but they cannot as well - it is not just me that is having a problem.

I'd prefer not to take my business to HMV or some other retailer, so any assistance with this issue would be helpful.

Thank you in advance.

just about all the online shops from the U.K. is selling this.is there anyone who actually ships multiple items together and doesn't ship each one individually?
amazon is the only one i'm aware of that ships multiple copies of the same title together.

For me the bigger concern would be the return policy. If I were to compare HMV with Amazon - I've always had an easier time returning / getting a replacement from Amazon.

i usually do order from amazon but it seems like they are not allowing multiple copies for this title while the others are.the only problem i encounter is that those retailers like HMV ship them out one by one which increases the chances of damages.so if someone knows of a retailer that actually will ship this out in 1 box for multiple copies, please let me know.

Here's the answer from amazon.co.uk.

I guess what they are saying below is that amazon.co.uk is sold out of Hanna, because only Indigostarfish has it...?

Either they flubbed this up, or I'm still confused. :wtf:

We are sorry for that you are unable to place order for the item "Hanna - Limited Edition Steelbook Triple Play (Blu-ray + DVD + Digital Copy)(Region C)".

I have checked our website and found that the item is currently listed with Amazon's Preferred Merchant, Indigostarfish.com.

Amazon's Preferred Merchant, Indigostarfish.com, is a Jersey-based merchant offering to supply goods to UK customers exclusive of VAT, via the Amazon.co.uk website. Items will be supplied by way of personal import and ownership of the Goods will transfer to you on dispatch of the Goods from Jersey. Orders placed with Indigostarfish.com are subject to the Indigostarfish.com Terms & Conditions.

If you order an item that is messaged as "Items for dispatch to UK will be sold by Amazon's Preferred Merchant." for delivery to an address within the UK you are placing your order with Indigostarfish.com and your item will be shipped from Jersey. Indigostarfish.com orders can only be delivered to UK addresses (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and all BFPO addresses).

This is the exact reason you are unable to place order for the item to your destination.

If you order an item that is messaged as "Items for dispatch to UK will be sold by Amazon's Preferred Merchant." for dispatch to anywhere other than the UK, you are placing your order with Amazon.co.uk. If the item is not in stock at the time of purchase with Amazon.co.uk it will be dispatched as soon as it comes into stock. This will be subject to Amazon.co.uk's terms and conditions, and the appropriate VAT charges for the destination country will be added to the cost of the order.

For more information on Indigostarfish.com, please visit the following URL on the Amazon.co.uk website:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=13378011

I hope this information clear things.

Thank you for your interest in Indigostarfish.com on Amazon.co.uk.

Basically, as I read it, in order to keep their prices low Amazon use Indigofish to supply the goods as then buyers don't have to pay VAT as they are based in Jersey. Apparently because they are based in Jersery this means that they cannot supply to overseas countries - I assume Amazon are not allowed to diddle with the VAT for overseas orders perhaps?

Therefore they are not sold out they just can't supply them to anyone overseas.

Or something... (I'm not sure that made sense - but it did in my head)

Still not sure their response makes sense, because I can still order Fast & Furious 5 and that's sold by indigostarfish as well.

I'm on board with that as well, I placed an order for F&F 5 this morning as a test and it went through fine.

I'll e-mail them again. If anyone else wants to give them a shout, that might be helpful.
