Hey guys!

I am starting a new thread for this year-feel free to chime in with any horror/thriller/suspense flicks you are watching for Halloween (all of October). Can be any format, and from any time period.

Share your thoughts and let us know what's you're checking out!

And...feel free to share your personal top 10 list of favorite horror flicks of all time!

Have fun,
DB

That's a shame..knowing the studio, though there will be 11 more editions to come...before the end of the year, LOL.

Anyone else watching any other spooky flicks before Halloween?

i've not watched any the last couple of day's.
due to the jurassic park trilogy;)

i think i'm going old school tonight, going to dig out my hammer collection:cool:

just watched the scars of dracula,a great hammer flick.
had a very young dennis waterman in it (older guys from the uk will know who he is)

well I had a gorefest last night. I watched "Broken", "Inside" and "Hostel" 1 and 2. I can't wait for Hostel 3 to be released.

Hey Ricker-I saw 'The Ward', haha! It was what you said, not bloody but pretty scary in parts, with a cool twist at the end. I'd say it was about 3/5 for me. Thanks again for the recommendation:)

Tonight we plan to watch 'The Craft' (not horror but my wife and I have not seen the BD, and she likes witch flicks), and the US remake of 'Let Me In'. I saw the Swedish version which was gorgeous, and I really like Chloe Moretz, so I hope to enjoy this one. Then tomorrow, it's time to dress up as a gross Mummy and Zombie respectively for a little fun with Michael Myers and some friends. As I mentioned, I was scared to death of him as a kid, so I don't think it will be different on a 102" Projector screen...in the dark...hopefully I can fit a pair of diapers under my Mummy get up.

That's awesome DB, you know I was kidding about being at that Zombie walk. I thought you lived in Cali or out west. So I figured you would know it was a joke. Anyways, if your in the witching mood, how about "Witches of Eastwick" I love that movie, When my older nephews and neices were young, I thought this looked like a kids movie on the ads. So I took 6 kids ages 6-10 to see this. When the lady started regurgitating grapes, I said oh ****, this is not for kids, so I moved us all to see "Harry and the Hendersons" which of course we all loved.

LOL-that's awesome! No, I had no idea you were kidding. Since you loved Horror, I thought it was true, haha! The Zombie Walk I was referring to was in NJ:) That's a funny store about Witches of Eastwick, LOL-one of my wife's faves:)

I watched "Red State" on Netflix last night. They had it listed as horror. It's not really a horror movie, but I kept swearing at my TV. John Goodman stars and does a really great job. It is definately a nail biter.

I survived 'Halloween' (original) with my friends last night. Haha, I had not seen it in years, and still screamed. Michael still scares me, but we had a blast:)

Glad you made it through the night DB. As it gets closer to Halloween, you need to up the anti. Have you seen the Strangers? Scary stuff, not to bloody.EEK!

Hey Ricker, haha! Yeah, I saw 'The Strangers'...very scary, for sure! I am am waiting on 'The Thing '51' and 'The Haunting '63' and then I am probably done for this year, with a 'deliberate' effort to watch more Horror flicks. But I had so much fun this year, it may spill into the rest of '12, haha. Tomorrow we'll lock this thread, and start a new one next year. :scat:

About 20 kids came today. I think that´s a record for us this year. Halloween gets more and more popular in Germany as it seems. Happy Halloween everybody!
