Well this is what was said to me in the email about getting the lower price

Thank you for your email.

I would like to inform you that we only charge your price for €9.99 for this item Heat: Special Edition (Steelbook) (Blu-ray) when you purchased it, no matter the price is higher or lower at this time.

We are confident that our pricing is amongst the most competitive offered by any online retailer, though are aware that we do not have the best price, for every item, every day.

Your understanding is much appreciated.

Please contact us at your convenience should you have any further queries.
Kind Regards,
Carrie | Customer Service Representative

Bit crap but ah well I'm getting it for €9.99 so can't complain.

Thanks for confirming mate. I'm half tempted to cancel my order with them now (if they'll allow it, that is). Not only has the price been lowered even more since I ordered, but they've now sent me a code to get another £1 off, which I obviously can't use on existing orders... they're just coming across as really cheeky IMO, and I don't like how they make it difficult to actually cancel orders and don't even have a pre-order price promise like most other online retailers.

But anyway... I'm sure this entire wave of steelbooks will drop in price eventually, so once they do, I'll just stick an order in on a more trustworthy/reliable site like Amazon. :)

Yeah I agree with you mate, I don't think I'll be ordering from them again in a hurry myself, and the fact that they don't give you the item at the lowr price is basically just BS.

I was wondering if someone could help me out here. I ordered this one as well as all the other in this premium wave and wanted to know what the lowest prices were from Aug 15 til now on amazon. I need to know which ones to keep and which ones to cancel if they never went down in price. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, this steelbook "Heat", is the only one in this wave that has dropped dramatically in price. All the other steelbooks in this wave have stayed at roughly the same price, £17.99.

At the moment they're showing at £17.00....

Ok thanks. I wasn't sure if any of the other ones went to 14 or so.

Don't know if it's of any use but you may wish to try this site - one I always use to track prices at Amazon (this one is for Amazon UK but similar exists for Amazon.com)

Shows that Heat was £12.77 for 3 weeks at the beginning of the month

just ordered heat for £6.95 through wowhd and I ordered 3 other from this wave for £13.46 each through thehut awhile back.

I know their shipping is probably bad but will give it a punt.
