I have the same problem. Bought from Amazon on Jan 29th, still hasn't despatched. Amazon cannot tell me when or if they will get more from suppliers. Don't want to cancel the order as I got it at a really good price

i doubt this will be coming back into stock, its sold out from over 10 major online retailers , no harm to leave your order active but don't hold your breath

Ditto although for me it is my all time fav movie ever, saw this 3 times in the cinema when it was first released back in 1995 and the shooting scene is THE greatest shoot-out scene in movie history. Mann set the standards so high in Heat that nothing to this date come close to it, he tried to redo that in Public Enemies but wasn't as captivating & realistic as the getaway shoot-out scene in Heat, De Niro & Pacino at their best, pure class, I must have seen it at least 27+x and can never get bored if it, even the French paid homage to Heat in 36th Precinct which is a great flick to check out too, obviously not in the same league as Heat but worth a watch

Did this have a much lower print run than all the other Warner Premium steelbooks? I'm assuming it must have done as its been sold out for a long time while they can barely give the other ones away!!!

I can only assume they all had the same print run. Companies like WOWHD were practically giving this away though, so must've cleared alot of stock. I know i picked mine up from them.
On the movie though, that shootout scene is probably the most authentic shootout sound i've ever heard in a movie. I don't have a big expensive sound system but every shot really feels like it hits you in the jacobs.

I ordered this back on January 31st, when it was in stock. Then it went oop. Amazon still hasn't cancelled this but I know eventually they will. Such a shame because it was in stock when I ordered it and it looks like I won't get it at this rate.

I had a couple spare copies of this for trade but decided to sell on ebay. Started auction at 99p, one went for £32 and the other £38! That was a couple months back. You might get even more now
