I have the limited edition tin that's numbered on DVD, so I will be considering this steelbook for sure, but if there is an uncut version releasing sometime soon I may just wait. Either way it'll be really nice to add to the collection.

I really cannot see an uncut version getting released any time soon and deffo not on the Amazon .D.E site as they are really strict with FSK ratings

The uncut edition will be released on 19.01.2012 but you can pre-order it only in austrian shops, because the uncut versions of the movies are banned in Germany.

It only about $35 with VAT. I ended up bundling it with a bunch of others from Amazon.de

The cut discs were just replaced with the uncut ones - that's all.

If you look here you can see the comparisons between the the cut and uncut versions on the first 5 films. It seems like they really cut a lot of good stuff out (if you're into that sort of thing... ;P) I think I'm going to sell this one and go for the uncut version.....

Part 1-3 were pretty much the best in terms of actually being in theme of an actual Hellraiser movie. This one is on my maybe list.
