What Kimchi exclusives really have going for them is that they're doing movies that usually wouldn't be up for the Steelbook treatment.

The Steelbook itself is very nice (colours came out a bit flat in my photos though) and overall quality of the slip and swag is top notch. Booklet is bilingual - a trend I'm really digging. I'm still a bit iffy about the fullslip design, but I can't deny the craft behind it. The embossed binary code feels and looks great and the bits of colour really pop on the white background. Not too fussed about the gatefold flap (it's a magnet underneath by the way) though, but it's a nice touch.

I think the lenticular definitely wins over the fullslip. The design and the pink really fits the movie and the Steelbook more. The lenticular card is also really cool, but it doesn't come out properly in the photos. If only it came with the full booklet. Pictures after the jump.

The booklet looks better than the photo on their website and looks like the Lenticular Slip

The fullslip not being that pink/red colour is part of my mixed feelings about it. The fact they ended up changing the booklet to match the Steelbook just makes the white seem like an odd choice. Of course if the whole thing was pink it might be a bit too much and the binary code thing might not work as well. Either way, I can't imagine anybody getting this and being unhappy about it.

So found one on eBay.

It's the non-Kimchi version that was posted earlier. They also had a full slip listed. From the listing, it appears it has all the extras that Kimchi's does. The only difference is the numbering sticker vs. card. If that is the only difference, it doesn't really make Kimchi's an exclusive if you ask me. It also makes me question what's going on with KimchiDVD. Does this mean we may see other editions of Iron man too?
No, Her was just a special case. KimchiDVD said that the distributor for Korea wasn't them, so the content was a little different. This time with Iron Man, yes, there will be other Korean retailers selling them and Kimchi said that these are exactly the same, with numbering cards & stickers. (They posted that on Facebook, but in Korean) I agree with you, not really a Kimchi 'exclusive'.
