I've just won a competition to win this Steelbook.
Not sure if there is a problem with the production but they are definitely coming out.
Congratulations on now owning the one and ONLY copy of this steelbook in the UK today !, now once you've finished your beers
, please check the steelbook ! whats the finish like, any embossing and so on....
I'm wondering whether Zavvi have some financial troubles with Lionsgate? If so, this might suddenly disappear from their site and reappear elsewhere (Ie, Amazon.co.uk or maybe unannounced in HMV stores). Keep your eyes peels guys!
A bit off that Zavvi aren't keeping their customers informed though. Many collectors will have budget for this month, but now have to keep that cash sitting around just in case Zavvi suddenly push the release date back by a few weeks. I now have over £100 tied up for SteelBook pre-orders which haven't been dispatched yet, but which were supposed to have been earlier this week. There's no telling if / when these will ever dispatch, or even if Lionsgate are looking for another retailer to distribute their stock

Paddington & Nikita had release dates for Monday-not heard about these either-horns is overdue by a week!
To be honest if the steelbook was a tradewide release, i would only choose between zavvi or amazon, as too many companies ship out steels in crappy A1 cardboard mailers, and i don't know how amazon uk now ship out steels of late, as i haven't ordered a steelbook there for a while. At least Zavvi put some effort with those white boxes. As for exclusives, we're stuck with zavvi unless everyone gives up the steelbook hobby.

Unfortunately mine did arrive with a scratch on the back and a small knock on the edge, but hey it was free.

The Steelbook looks awesome. Glad it got the gloss finish the artwork deserved.

Looking good, nice gloss finish, back is white, not bare. Just wish someone knew when we're going to get these !

I think we can safely assume that Zavvi have a real problem with StudioCanal & Lionsgate...and Zavvi have just put up Sleepy Hollow on page 1 of the pre-orders, a StudioCanal release!!!! what an absolute farce!!!

I think it might be StudioCanal & Lionsgate in lockdown with the steelbook manufacturers!!! after the abysmal ****-up's with The Imitation Game & Mockingjay!!! Quality control seems to have been tossed out the window...when you are supposedly paying 20 odd quid for a premium product that's what you would expect to receive!!! I do wish Zavvi would put some sort of statement out!!! It's totally unacceptable that they just ignore all our e-mails and questions!!! what goes around comes around Zavvi!!!!

Don't take this as a dig and it's certainly not a defense for Zavvi but it baffles me that you're still dealing with/purchase from zavvi.com.
It seems to cause you a lot of stress that can't be good for you (and anyone else for that matter!).
