Everything Blu Facebook

Release Schedule (SUBJECT TO APPROVALS!) - We would like to let you know our direction over the next few releases and as stated above, these are subject to approvals. We are taking on board suggestions of movies without steelbook releases but we need some sort of foot in the market before doing so. However, some of those titles have already been brought up in a meeting today, so hopefully we can progress further with those soon.

This schedule is planned to have full Exclusive SteelBook designs (Not just flipped artwork exclusivity). All would feature the same setup as Shaun of the Dead; Full Slip, Lenticular & Blu Box.

Casino EE 002
Hot Fuzz EE 003
Oblivion EE 004
The Worlds End 005

Thank you to everyone supporting us, please let us know you thoughts on the titles above!!

I have their SOTD Blu Box, but have so far passed on this. From what I remember (without again inspecting my copies) but SOTD slips seemed pretty solid to me in terms of construction. Certainly not like this "pasted-on outer paper" stuff with the most ugliest fold lines and corners I've ever seen lol :BS: I mean seriously :wtf::wtf:

You can see the difference pretty well in @dfoles 's pic below...

EEK!:stop:
Solid construction with (in my opinion) slightly shoddy/cheap materials(flimay card basically)

But compared to the cost of it vs Korean/Chinese imports its fair in terms of pay for quality.

Only bought the standalone SHAUN steelbook recently so will hope to do the same with HOT FUZZ even though I find the new steelbook design uninspired when compared to one of the other (tweaked) mock-ups.
BIg fan of the outer box though but can't justify £80 plus for what is after all only one release especially when, as a collector of Blu-rays, I could buy over ten different films (that I've never watched before) for the same price ...

Anyway, a few more pics of this handsome release - courtesy nuikichiSB:-

Those of you keeping the box sealed may want to open and have a look...just opened mine and my Lenticular slip is missing the lenti! Nothing there just a big white lonely space...how the hell do they miss this when packaging!! Waited all this time and now this. Off to request a replacement slip.

Sounds weird.

I thought the slip would have the artwork printed on it regardless of if the lenti is attached or not? It shouldn't be completely white.

I can faintly see artwork under the white square...assume the Lenticular is supposed to be attached on that...how did they miss it when placing the steelbook inside the slip?...it’s so obvious..just frustrating when waiting so long for this!

can anyone who bought this and Shaun, compare the slip quality?

Shaun is super cheap feeling in finish and EB themselves said to me that Hot Fuzz would be sturdier and better quality(for slips and hardbox)...,I’d like to know from an honest ninja if that was the case(shall post this in Hot Fuzz also)

Also, Ian the lenti slip a hardbox or the same slip style as Shaun

Still toying with biting for this(lost my Hot Fuzz Canadian steel so need some steel for this movie even if I don’t buy Worlds End)

Thanks in advance

hi, does anybody know if the single steelbook has 1/4 slip or just naked with nothing on it? And Shaun of the Dead and World's End?

hi, Pal, can you help confirm if the standalone steelbook has 1/4 slip or just naked? Possible to upload a picture? I want to buy three standalone steelbooks from EB, but if they are all naked, that will change my mind. Thanks.

Hi there . . . I've only bought the standalone SHAUN steelbook so far and that came sealed with J-card (as expected) . . . only brand new steelbook / futurepak I've ever seen in the UK "naked" is SUSPIRIA.

J-card almost identical to the J-card attached to the Blubox:-

EB customer service is just a joke. I placed an order on June 13, after ten days I received the tracking number, now today royal mail shows the sender hasn't handed over the order to them. Come on, they are all in stock items, not preorders!
