How do YOU decide whether to buy a Steelbook?

Horhay, just curious-does it matter to you whether you have the 1st, or more sought after ed (whichever comes 1st), of a certain movie?
1. The Movie itself (if its a horrible film, chances are i wont get it)
2. Artwork (This is actually a big deal for me, If the artwork sucks, no buy)
3. Extras (If it's a special edition or bare bones version of the film can often sway me from buying it or not, adding a digital copy never hurt either)
4. Price (I'm not made of money, I gotta eat!)

Then I move onto artwork, is it nicer than the one I already have or not? Do I like it?
For me, it's become primarily about the film and rewatchability, given time limitations. I've been a collector for several years, and unless I love the film, it's usually a no buy(though I'll make occasional exceptions for awesome covers, or movies, I suspect I will like). While I am a very visual person, and love the Steelbooks/art over the Amaray, in most cases, having multiple covers or movies I may never watch just is not practical for me, anymore. There are only 24 hours in a day, and luckily getting older has brought rationality, LOL!

For me the film is the most important factor and almost as important to me is the artwork, I always prefer to get a SB with English writing on it rather than French, german but if the art is still nice I will still buy. 
I would do that if I even opened my Steelbooks, seeing as I don't and like to keep them mint and unopened I just rely on wether or not I like the artwork or not.
For me I have to enjoy the film. I will blind buy though especially if I think I'll like the movie. I have been burned a couple of times. Green Hornet comes to mind which was a dreadful movie but great looking steel.
Horhay-yeah, I was never into the "keeping them sealed" thing, but I respect others that feel they wish to do so.
I'm so wishy-washy on this, at least 90% of my steels are probably still sealed. Not that I wont ever open them, but most often I get a steel and already have the amaray. So I've already watched the movie recently. Now, I turn in my amarays to Hastings for store credit, then I still have the steel. So if I want to watch the movie later on, I'll open it.
I never turned in my Disney amarays tho, and have kept the steels sealed. For most other movies tho I get rid of the amarays and upgrade to steelbook. But like most others, if the artwork sucks or it has too much foreign writing on it that makes it look bad then I just steer clear of it altogether.
I dont have to LOVE the film tho to get a steelbook, as I prefer blind-buy steelbooks. This way I actually open those immediately to watch the movie and its just a much more steelbook enjoyable moment.
(Like I did with Battle LA)
Problem with me is that I hate waiting for shipping and some SBs get released weeks/months after so I don't like waiting. Let's just say they are my prized possessions and like to keep them nice and tidy unopened.
Hey Horhay, yeah totally makes sense-this happens to me, too. If I want to see the flick and haven't,I just rent it with Netflix. Many times the Steel is released past the original US release date, so this system works out for me. Otherwise I sometimes open the Steel whenever I watch it. But sometimes she is just too hot, and I need to run my hands all over her, right away (as in, unpack from mail and peel out, ha!)
I almost never say NO. Hence the word "JUNKIE". But with the significant rise in the number of steels being released, I am finding it much easier to be selective. I have really tried to open some of my collection, but am finding it difficult. So most of my stuff is sealed. I'm like Horhay, I have usually seen the movie by the time I get the steel. Some day my kid will have to deal with all this. Hope its still worth a buck or two.
