This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Note:
This thread is for your last movie SteelBook. If it's another kind please use the proper thread below:

Full Slips are almost always Steelbooks. Only the 101 releases and a few collectors editions come with an amaray case and booklet. The plain archive ones are scanavo cases with slips and mostly without booklets.
If there was a Full Slip Steelbook Section, i could see more steelbook artworks in this section and don`t have to view all the packed slipcases. Why post in the steelbook section when there`s no steelbook to see. There a Full Slip Steelbook section would be helpful.
All other editions with Amarays and Scanavo cases go in the slipcover section.
I agree with almost everything you've said. But here is my take. Slipbox is just another term for Full slip, just like O-ring is another term for slipcover. The link I posted is for any slipbox/slipcover edition. You could have a steelbook, amaray case, futurpak, digibook or whatever inside, but we post to showcase the outer cover. From what I understand, that is also what you want but correct me if I'm wrong. :)

However, when it comes to showcasing steelbooks, it becomes a little difficult. Steelbooks are not just steelbooks on their own anymore. They sometimes come packaged inside a slipbox/full slip. And there are sealed collectors who would also like to show their latest haul. But we dont need a separate thread just for these collectors do we? And we certainly cant make it a requirement to unseal their full slip in order to post in this thread. It just seems unnecessary to me.

But I also understand these pages can become quite long if every person posted a full image of every edition they received. It is also unnecessary. That's why it's requested (as per OP) that everyone be mindful of this fact and post the thumbnail view (which you can click to see the full view) or use spoiler tags so they dont take so much space. Only time we should post the full image is if we have multiple editions in the same image.

Also, what is a 101 release? Are you referring to "plain" editions? First time I heard of it haha.

It was only a suggestion. There are so many of these Full Slips with Steelbooks out there (Cinemuseum, Everything Blu, KimchiDVD, Nova Media and so on). When I collect steelbooks only it is not my interest to see how they got packed.
But as you said a Full Slip is also a Slipbox. Might be that would cause unnessecary irritation.

Now that with the 101 releases: I can`t believe you never heard of them. It is a label from the UK with very good releases for different genres. What I meant is the Black Label Series. It are Full Slips with a scanavo case and a big booklet. These booklets are very nice and have a very good quality with thick pages and are very informative. They also had some "first time ever on Blu-Ray" releases like "The Cooler". Also noteable are Cronenbergs "Existenz" -and the "Trespass"-release.

Now they start releasing steelbooks with ShoutFactory-inspired artworks:
the first is "Black Christmas"
