How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

I ordered a bunch of embossed steelies from amazon.de.

This is how they shipped it. All of them were packaged in extra cardboard , however, one of them didn't come in one I'm not sure why they did that....

I ordered on Jan 10th, and received Jan 20th...not bad for their cheapest shipping.

I have the same Storm Warriors steelbook from Amazon.de on the way but did not know that it is embossed. Can you share some pics as I might like to grab an extra copy or two?

I believe storm warriors is region b locked and no english audio if my memory serves me correct. just a little fyi

It's hard for me to capture it because it's debossed instead The chinese writing and the title is debossed.

The other one I got is embossed...

I have been becoming a embossed/debossed freak collector...nothing else matter if it's not embossed/debossed.

Oh man, me too Mayflower. Embossed/debossed steels are my current hunts. I am so getting a second copy of this and had thought about the Goemon title but now definitely adding it to my collection.

BTW May, did you use red envelopes with embossed characters for Chinese New Year? I found them at World Markets

@Wreck, I had the impression Storm Warriors is dubbed in German and English. Oh well, then I will have to follow May AGAIN and get the UK edition to replace it

yep, I will only pay premium price who meet BOTH two criteria - EMBOSSED/DEBOSSED and inside artwork. Those are the two must-have in my collection, otherwise, I wouldn't bother chasing after them. If it doesn't meet those criteria, then it is a FAILED

As a matter of fact, I think most of my steelbook came from Germany

Agreed. Especially on the inside artwork. It's so heartbreaking when you open a steelbook up and it looks like you are looking into a box of aluminum foil.

Funniest thing ever happened to me! Went to future shop to exchange a couple of games for my stepson, talked to the guy in there, and one thing let to another, we spoke about steelbooks, and the fact that I had FF on pre-order. Then he asked me to follow him in the back and showed it to me! So awesome! I've noticed that they had some old stock as well, and asked if he could hook me up with some. He then took 4 and gave them to me:

- Skyrim (G1)
- Battlefield 3 (G1)
- Call of Duty Collection (G1)
- NHL 12 (G1)

He said he'll give me some more next time

Sorry guys, no pictures, my camera is broken, but they look nice!
