Hello all. Just joined the forum and have been browsing this thread. Some fantastic collections throughout... kinda leaves my piddly little "collection" of 1 steelbook firmly in the shade!! :hilarious:

I only have The Wolfman in steelbook, and only because it looked rather nice and I thought it might be a decent movie... and it was in a 2 for £15 deal in my local HMV store. Turned out to be a rather disappointing film, and steelbook (sadly lacking any internal pics) but I must admit it sparked my interest in steels as they are a thing of beauty... so here I am, hoping to get on the road to some form of collection. ;)

Don't worry. Your collection will grow. Trust me!!! :oohyeah:

Cheers, Shanester.

Why do I always seem to pick expensive hobbies?? First was Scuba Diving, then (and now still) photography and now it's the setting up of a Home Cinema and steelbooks are entering the fray! My Wife has been very understanding so far... just hope it continues! ;)

Do many on here get multiple copies of steels, so they can keep one mint and sealed and actually watch the other? I can't imagine buying a film and keeping it sealed! EEK!

Ok. I got you covered on the wife thing. Make sure you tell her that the rare ones just keep on going up in value and that your gonna sell them on ebay. It works!!! :D

You should have heard my duaghter tell me "you know daddy your going to have to tell mommy how much your spending". :hilarious:

It sounds like your on your way. Your getting some of the Japan wave comming out and that is gonn rock. :scat:

Sadly I only have the 1 steelbook.. so I guess that it'd also be the last one I bought! ;)

The Wolfman. Not a great film, even worse steelbook with no internal artwork at all... still, nice look and feel and external artwork. :)

if you're looking for inside artwork go with the canadian releases

love the inside artwork of pretty much every one of those, especially the harry potter fs ones!

of course canadian releases aren't the only ones, just my favorites

mailman just dropped off target cowboys and aliens and twilight breaking dawn...

got my sister to pick it up at her best buy in oklahoma! and some of you out there doubted that i could find a copy in stores :p

Thanks for the info, SlimJim... is this a general thing with Canadian releases then, getting the better interiors? Looking at the I Am Legend steel on amazon.ca and really like the simplicity of the design... also love the film too which helps! :D

Nice biscuit! Really seems like you need a bigger cabinet!

Agreed. He needs to get some shelves fast but he can always store it with any of us if he wants in the meantime. :D
