How Many SteelBooks Do You Own? Post pics of collection / last acquired!

This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:

1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

If your buying them for value then yes you want to keep them sealed. I buy them because I love movies and I love steelbooks so I get the best of both worlds, I get a movie and I get in in packaging I love. It's why I rarely double dip unless I really love the movie or really love the steelbook since I am going to be opening them. It's also why I keep a budget on my steelbooks since I know I will be opening them and depreciating their value.

Everyone collects for different reasons, I can't imagine not opening my steels. People will likely grimace when I open my Prince of Persia when it gets here.

I love movies too, but I catch them on Sky Movies HD so I too get the best of both worlds! But your dead right we are all different and collect for different reasons. That's what makes this site so fresh and interesting!

That looks great! I just bought this one too, still sealed for 57eur of ebay! Id say it was a real bargain even thou it has a small paint chip on the blue banner

I did a trade with karl01 here for it, my first trade here.

She is checking another Futureshop this weekend for the Harry Potter shelf for me though and grabbing me Chamber of Secrets which will take me to two Harry Potter steels. Still debating if I want her to grab me an Underworld on Tuesday, I already paid her for the Potter and I got a deal lined up here to buy MI4 from the UK on Monday so I may need to stop going crazy haha.

I was on the Steel hunt today and took a few pics of the Steel section of my Media Markt. I saw biscuits video of his futurshop a while ago and thought it might also be interesting for a few foreign members to see how the Steel sections in the german MM look like. Sorry for the blurred pictures but i had my hands full of Steels when i took them. They are only to give you an impression how our MMs look like.

To the mods: feel free to delete/move this if you think it doesn´t belong here

We have big shelves full of only MM exclusive Steels which collectors could call the Steel-heaven

And some other older releases are just mixed in with the amarays.
As you can see there are still plenty of the Cowboys & Aliens and Jurassic Park Steels left.
