1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Cheers Collector03601
I made the mistake of not buying the German original and had to do with the re release with printed FSK but it haunted me to much so I went out and bought the original anyway.
It now sits next to the French G1 and Comic Con G1 and the Canadian release lol

terry and Collector - I love my BabyDoll collection! All of them - steel, amaray and art book (well maybe except the Australian steelbook edition). And I hope they will NEVER release anymore (sorry but nothing against new collectors) because IMO the quality of the steelbook and slipcover goes down with each update/release. I am now enjoying the Canadian steel edition :)

I thought I would show you all some of my more recent pick ups. Almost makes me cringe when I see the picture.

I think the AU one woudl be more important than the CA one. Has art cards where the CA one doesnt. Other than that, same steel.

Hey Ash, very nice additions to your collection. I'm just curious, how long have you been collecting SteelBooks and how many do you have now? I'm just trying to get a feel for what I'll be in that time? :oohyeah:

I started going full head-on at the end of last October. I was on and off with whatever Best Buy put out in the past two years but missed those Disney steelbooks. I can only say based on my home-made tracking database application that I am now past the 200 mark :p

I was drawn into this hobby by the FS HP set for my kids and then got hold of this forum from chipvideo who told me about a source with a cheaper version of the Captain America steel on another forum. With advice from DB and apsmith, I locked down on the ones I really want first and simply hunted down the sources, a tip passed to me from Biscuit! I mostly bought my earliest steels here but then I discovered ebay EEK!. My best steel hunt was the purchase of the now very rare FS Angels and Demons steelbook. For now, I think I am caught up for my collection but there is still one or two crazy ones with an irresistible price that I will grab. :p

Please know that I was very aggressive with my hunt. There were days and nights that I stayed online chatting and emailing traders and sellers so take this advice with a lot of salt :D Good luck!

that limited edition thor helmet on the top of the shelf.cool!

Nice pickups! Those were the good old days Thunda! I remember when there were that many steels I wanted. EEK! :D

Yeah, I'm about ready to go after some of the more difficult ones to get now with Wanted DE Media Markt and Inglorious Basterds metal slipcase being the ones I want first. I need to let my wallet fill back up though.

Picked this up at best buy today. I was really surprised to see it in stock. I never really cared about this steelbook until I saw it in person today. In pics it looks pretty blah but in person the art and embossing looks pretty cool. Only bad thing is it's G1:(
