This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Note:
This thread is for your last movie SteelBook. If it's another kind please use the proper thread below:
Last Viva Metal Box You Purchased?
Last Ironpack/MetalPak/Tin You Purchased?
Last Video game SteelBook Acquired?

Wow,i love that steelbook. Still looking to pick one up.

That Hurt Locker UK is pretty nice. Glad I finally found myself a copy. Thank goodness for a region free player. :D

Its very nice indeed actually. I have both the Korean and the UK and I can tell you neither is less then the other. Equally as nice. Region free player is must if your in this hobby IMO. I used to be so worried and then for the price one of mid priced steel book I got a region free player and I never worry now or replace discs. Best $$$ spent to support the hobby to date.

how can you possibly know that you have the only 2 mint copies left in the state? That statement baffles me a bit.

Like most major chain stores JB Hifi have inventory software. They can check stock levels at every store across Australia. In Western Australia there are 7 copies showing on their system. 4 in Midland which they cannot find and 3 at Perth Enex which are all damaged. There are none anywhere else in WA.

yesterday I received from amazon.de
The Thing (2011)
Wolfman
and Gran Torino.

I was sent the wrong version of Gran Torino that really annoyed me
and on top of that it sounds damaged b/c something is rattling around inside.
They are sending me a new copy (hopefully the one I actually want) free of charge.
I'll probably open the other one and see if its actually damaged. Hopefully it's not though.

I understand that, but there will be other private collector's who also have mint/undamaged copies too.

It's a shame they don't sell the remaining copies online, they'd sell really quick if they did.

You're reading far too much into what I said. The whole point of my post is to let people know that these are extremely tough to get - ie. they're not readily available, so if you want one start hunting now. Not "I'm the only one that owns Tron".

Someone has been very busy lately :hilarious:

Very interesting. Maybe someone else can chime in on this. I've always thought that the back of this steelbook was blank.
The seller could also be showing a custom copy? Not sure..
The seller clearly put the insert/leaflet that comes with it on the back of the case for display purpose only, so it is a blank back as illustrated guys, shame though as it is a nice steel, it would've been even nicer if it had back art

Just so there is no confusion for a new member that might be viewing this thread, the Tron item that is being discussed is a Viva Metal Box, not a steelbook (i'm sure you regulars know the difference, this is just for clarification purposes)

Does a Lenticular leaflet come with it?
Cos it clearly says in the listing that 'it is a rare edition of excl. EzyDVD'.

Received my copy of "A Trip to the Moon" Limited edition steelbook today. Very nice it is too!
