This particular thread is to showcase new and recent additions to your collection and showcasing your entire collection.

In order to allow for smooth scrolling and loading, on multiple types of devices, we're asking our community to work with us to do the following:
1. Please try and resize your pictures prior to posting them as it helps the loading times for you and your fellow collectors.
2. You might want to consider posting your pics in the dedicated media section found HERE where you will be able to take advantage of the amount of filters, resizing, and other features if you use that interface.
3. Please use spoiler tags when posting more than one picture of the same steelbook.
4. If you receive more than one steelbook, please take a group shot, not a picture from every single steel.
5. If you receive more than a single copy of one steel, post pictures of a SINGLE copy please. If they are for a group buy, then those pictures should be posted in the group buy thread and NOT in this thread.
6. If you wish to show multiple steelbooks from different angles, please use spoiler tags.

Note:
This thread is for your last movie SteelBook. If it's another kind please use the proper thread below:

lol peasant? Buy what you can afford and what your happy with. Don't get influenced over what other people have. The ones over 1000 most probably have multiple steelz for future trades/sales and been collecting for a while.

A collector doesn't mean the person with the most steelbooks!

Well said! ;)

I was wondering if there are many collectors here who buy only movies they like? It's my number 1 rule actually (there are some exceptions of course, but anyway, I don't have the budget to buy everything of course), because it's even greater to have an all time favourite in steelbook don't you think?

Every collector is different which what makes meeting other collectors interesting an fun! If we were all the same then this hobby be boring.

Majority of the movies I buy on steelbooks have meaning to me, in otherwords I enjoy the movie in some form :)

There are steelz I buy as investment purposes, there are duplicate ones for my favourite movies. Sometimes I buy the steelz because they look nice even if I didn't enjoy movie. Sometimes I buy the steel to fit with the rest of the releases, for example the JPN white steelz, I got blade runner to fit a long with all the others.

There have been tines when I buy a steelbook and I don't know why so I have to get rid of it lol. And there are times when I never seen the movie and buy the steel for this but turns out the movie is sh*t and I have to ebay it!

I think there's been a thread somewhere about why we collect and stuff but I can't remember. There have been threads if we open or keep steelz sealed and a lot of threads about what is the most expensive steel you bought and the most expensive ones etc

Ha. Thanks for the words of wisdom :)

I am generally sensible with my money and will only buy what I can afford. I give myself a budget each month, so you won't find me bidding on any FS Iron Man steels anytime soon, unless I have a nice lottery win. I think the most I'd pay for a steel at the moment would be £30 tops.

Yep, I'm with you on this one.

Also, refuse to buy steelbooks for films I don't like.
