hopefully David might be able to ship these out next week sometime.

in canada, we are waiting for parcel to be picked up at post office by our Hub, after that it's gonna be the shipping part to us so excited, poor Canada Hub must be working hard and do this on his weekend for us, very nice guy :oohyeah:

I hope the notice card didn't fly in the wind 0_0

USA shipment attempted delivery at 4:20, someone must've been preoccupied at that exact moment ;)

I'm confused....are the US ones shipping out yet to us?

The bundle is arriving at the US hub soon, probably tomorrow. Then after that, the US hub person will package and ship out to us. So hopefully they should be on their way to you by late next week.

In hand, my lenticular just looks too plain, I'll admit. That full white background is leaving me unimpressed, unfortunately.

Hoping for another release so I don't have to open this one.

That's what I was afraid of. Thankfully the steelbook itself has looked absolutely stunning in pictures.

Maybe an Amaray will have a lenticular you can pilfer?

I don;'t know what to think it seems it's either cold or hot, some people complain about the quality and other paises about their copies being so high quality... can't wait to get my copies, hope I get great copies being all OCD and cannot shake it off... I need this to be flawless, been looking so forward for this steel soooo much it's crazy makes me feel like a kid on xmas morning :D

Just an update. The steelbook as reported earlier has none of the scratches that has degraded some of the other exclusive glossy finishes out there.
But...WARNING! WARNING! the gloss finish on HTTYD is very very prone to scratches! Yes its true. After I opened my personal lenticular copy and opened the steelbook itself,Just from sliding the steelbook up and down a couple of times inside the slipcover,it has attained an enormous amount of scratches and the OCD part of myself got the better of me to the point that I started wondering whether I just didn't look at it closely enough initially after opening it and maybe the vertical scratches were there all along.
So...I opened up a quarter slip to see what the heck was going on.Sure enough, the steelbook is completely free of scratches. The only thing the other steel was rubbing up against was the inside of the slipcover.I really wanted to keep the lenticular but how was I going to prevent the same thing from happening all over again. To simply put,I slightly altered the lenti in 2 ways. The first was to permanently adhere the loose card to the cover since its basically the same cover twice and would eliminate the nuisance of having this running free all the time lol.The second thing I did was to cut an opening on one of the edges so that the steel would never have to ever slide up and down ever again to cause any scratches. You would simply open the lenti and remove the steelbook cleanly. The opening is not bothersome at all since when under normal circumstances and it is stacked in place next to another steelbook on your shelf, everything is closed flush.
So far so good! No scratches!

Maybe you can put the steelbook in the polybag then put in the slip case.

I thought about that but it is so prone to scratches that even polybags will probably scratch it as well.I have dozens of polybags. It is that fragile.I am not going to test it on the second copy I've opened up already. If it ends up getting scratched again, that will lead to another copy being opened lol
