Those look nice, I'm still thinking the artwork should be reversed between 1/4 and lenticular slipcover... I think white doesn't lend itself really well on lenticular...

It's on it's way :D hope that my copies will be like most of the others who got perfect copies... oh i'll be stressed out until I get them :ohno:

Got the lenticular, and can't wait to get the 1/4 slip as well to compare.

Does anyone else's copy make a rattling noise when it's moved around or shaken a little? It doesn't sound like a loose disc, but like a small piece of plastic is loose inside (perhaps part of a broken disc hub?).

It may be the character cards, they come inside the steel.

Yes, I thought about that, but the rattling is only in one of the 2 copies. The other one, I can clearly hear the cards moving, and the sound of pieces of cardstock is a lot different from the sound of a small piece of plastic.

I wouldn't worry about that small piece of plastic(as long as you don't hear the disk moving but with the cards they take more place and it's an extra protection to keep the disk from getting loose because of the lack of room that the cards fill up), same happened with my Thor Kimchi 1/4 slip, I hear a small plastic piece moving around, it's either the tip of one leg of the disc holder but that is not a big issue and I am OCD Or sometimes it could have been during the manufacturing process when putting all the steel together before shipping a small piece of plastic that is not part of the inside steel got in the steelbook before sealing it. I've seen this with Amarays, I hear rattling and open and it's just a random little piece of plastic that doesn't belong to the package. But it could be one or the other.

Mine arrived today and while I didn't notice a rattling, one disc was off the hub and the card packet was loose inside. The disc was undamaged and no hub issues here. I'd guess yours might be similar

For the lenticular set, any ideas on a type of bag or slip that would hold the set with slip so it just doesn't sit on the shelf? I actually have the same issue needing to be solved for my Blu-fans Leon too.

I know there's some hard plastic cover that fits the Thick steels such as Kimchi and Lenti of HDzeta, I would suggest for you to go to the proper thread where they talk about slip covers. https://www.hidefninja.com/community/threads/sleeves-hard-cases-for-steelbooks™.5766/

hope this helps

The sealed ones from movie-style.fr fit my Lawrence of Arabia Steel. I'll try HtTYD and report back in a bit.

what about the G1(DVD) poly ones, looking for some that you slide the steel from the top and after we can fold it over and stick it in the back, this way there's no plastic sticking up higher than the steel as those poly bags that you slide them from the side. when sliding from the side you cant fold the top over to not have that plastic higher than the steel.

The poly sleeves I've used in the past never worked for sealed steels or ones with slips. That's why I switched to the plastic shell versions.

I have one DVD size opening from the side that someone gave me with a purchase and the steelbook normal size fit right in the poly bag, floded it over the back and sealed it but it has an inch higher than the steel of plastic with nothing in it since the blu ray size is lower than DVD, looking for the ones that slide from the top that you can fold over

I got my lenti today, the packaging from DB/HDN was good. I'm not all that impressed with the quality of the slip and movie packaging though, the whole slip is kinda wonky and crooked, none of the stickers are evenly placed, and half the corners on the slip are rounded to some degree.....over all, pretty sloppy and ugly compared to the likes of blufans, kimchi, plain, etc...
