I really liked that film, definitly in my top 3 animated films ever, I really wonder, why now on made a Steelbook earlier, especially looking at how much the 3D Version and the Games sell

Well the 3D sells for a lot because it was bundled with a blu ray player I think. It was some exclusive that you couldn't get by just buying it.

Dreamworks release of HTTYD as a blu ray only had the normal edition and then the Dragon Collection edition.

Not sure if I can post pictures yet but I could take some pictures of the dragon collection edition I have. The box art/look looks kind of cheap imo

Compared to other titles thats pretty much.

90 euros? Ah yes they do sell a 2 disc combo pack to the US but its the 3D and dvd, not a 3D + 2D + Dvd. And this costs 21$ USD with just these 2 discs. Seems like everything Dragons, is expensive

I've said it before but when this was released, the original blu-ray, it was 3D + DVD and it was so expensive that I felt ripped off no blu-ray included that I passed(at that time I wasn't collecting) and now when they announced it I was so thrilled to have passed on it and will be getting me some 'o dat !!! The 2nd movie will hit theatre I believe and I guess they should follow up shortly with the 2nd steely

I bought the one from Walmart with the really cool silver slipcover. (the same art as the back of this steel book). But the version I bought has a lot of extras. I'm still gonna get this steel though. Been waiting for a HTTYD steel for a while. Just weird that HDZ announced it of all retailers. I actually expected Zavvi but am glad it's HDZeta.

Wish it was embossed, ah well it still looks good with a nice glossy finish. Doesn't look like it will have those shiny reflective holographic parts (could use those nicely on the back). Are samples pretty close to the final product?
