Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.
Best Regards
PLAIN ARCHIVE

I wrote that because the general consensus seems to be that it is the best thing since sliced bread - and frankly it isn't really - nor for that matter is the Zavvi version tbh.

I think this is better than the Zavvi release, whether you are "bowled over" is in the eye of the beholder. But obviously given PA's track record, the fact this is a Korean film being released by a Korean company with the approval of the director, makes people rightly excited about this release.

WAY Better than the Zavvi version.

Does anyone already know what number this will get?

As #3 will be 'the king of pigs' and #4 'blue is the warmest colour'

I will aim to get all the Plain Archive titles and not the Plain Selective

I much prefer Korean title on the spine because it's a Korean movie. But everyone have own their opinion. :)

I know the reason PA chose Korean lettering on the Spine is because its a Korean film. I get it. Its a cool idea. But to me it looks inconsistent with the overall Artwork because Of the English lettering on the front. I never seen that before, it must be a the first Multi language artwork on a steel besides CA French/English titles, which look horrid.
