Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.

Why is the title a different colour to the blood splatter? It is very distracting in my opinion. I think this does edge the Zavvi edition, but it's nothing special.

How easy is it get the discs out of those? Can you press down on the part in the middle? I dont want to risk damaging the discs every time I get them out

Love the art- inside and out! Though for some reason I find the location of the directors name to not fit into the overall artwork. I like the UK version as it looks cleaner in that sense. Either way, a fantastic release! Plus it is region A, which also helps

That is a standard 2 disc hub, it's easy enough to remove the discs.

No it should be region free if it's anything like PA's other releases.

I'm not sure, but I think the UK version was region B locked. That doesn't play nice with my bluray player! Korea is region A, so it will at least have that- it could be region free though

I tried to see on many angles it seemed this is not gloss which would be really let down.... I hope I was wrong...

The steel is nice and all, but what will set this edition apart is the slip box. All of the ones they've done so far have been stellar.
