Plain Archive is excited to announce the release of I Saw The Devil Steelbook. We've been asked by Blue Kino, another Korean Blu-ray company to design the Steelbook edition which will be PLAIN ARCHIVE's exclusive.
We were hoping to release the world's first Steelbook edition of I Saw The Devil, but Zavvi announced its own before we could. The news made us reconsider the project, but with director Kim Jee-woon's support, we couldn't drop it.
I Saw The Devil Steelbook will be released under the approval of director Kim, and we are working on the artwork as we speak.

Having just received the Zavvi version of ISTD damaged... I've decided that's enough of Zavvi for the moment & it's going back for a refund.

So I've just ordered Plain Archive's fantastic looking PET edition from Korean seller on eBay - cost me just under $20 more (including delivery) than it would have if I'd seen this when Plain Archive's pre-orders started, but considering the prices some people on eBay want for it (just under 2 to almost 3 times what I paid), that's a bargain IMO.

Really looking forward to receiving my first Plain Archive Steelbook

It's no different from other Plain Archive releases so far, e.g., The Wrestler. The barcode is not on the sticker, but on the printed info area. The sticker is to the right of the "info rectangle" (red border).

The title is delicately embossed, I can feel it through the shrinkwrap. Not planning to open this one just yet before I receive my second copy

Slipcase spine and top (both English and Korean titles on the spine are similarly embossed as the title on the front):
