Embossed = A big Yes!

Blu-Ray Banner....... Are you serious?!?!?! Why on earth would you want that ugly banner at the top of your blu-rays? I rather see the artwork in all its glory. Each to their own i suppose lol.

The blu banner can be seen as a distinguishing mark from non-blu steelbooks, and also be used as a "feature" to tie all blu steelbooks together from the past (just line them up in a row and you will see what I mean but this can be accomplished with a cardboard insert too). Unfortunately due to the lack of standards or agreement between studios, the color of the banner is not consistent as is the shape of the banner. Thus are the tough decisions of the SB collector

I line up all my blu-banner on the shelves and it's so beautiful to look at... and then those releases without the blu-banner....I grrrr....

"some" people think it's ugly, but it's evidence that there are a lot of people who are paying a lot of money to buy them hehehe...I guess it's not ugly enough hehehe.

Hence the cardboard insert with the blue banner is a great compromise except for those who hate them and don't open them

i was actually surprised by this movie for what it was, even if orlando bloom was in it.

I came in just expecting good effects, bad 3d, bad story, lots of blood so I was not at all disappointed when I left the theater.

Also I must say since realizing that people on the forum sell their digital copies opens me up to buying more non north american steelbooks when possible. (yes, I am crazy about my digital copy collection)

my mistake, although I was still not blown away by the movie. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed it but still nothing exceptional.

I really do hope that's not the final cover. The number '300' is plastered across his head. I'm in agreement with the others, that they remove that annoying phrase. If you have to keep it then put it on the card backing. It really does does take away from the artwork.
