Not sure if this is the spot for this but i pre ordered the amazon UK breifcase version and i preordered the amazon japan one
but not sure if uk is a steelbook i am thinking of canceling cause it might not be steelbook and might be dvd size.
And since the japan one is steelbook and bluray size and limited to 3500 copies
Is this a good move whats your opinion
Also FS will probably release this anyways

As far as I know, the UK briefcase is not confirmed for a steelbook release.
If the Japan version is G2 sized (not sure if its), its a good choice. That version is my favorite artwork so far.

What are the thoughts on region for this one? Does Warner have a history of region free like Universal or do they have a penchant for locking them in to the region of release?
Warner has a history of being region free, but there are always exceptions to that rule.
I have little doubt that Inception will be region free, IMO.

It doesn't even look like a steel actually. I'm hoping that it is just preliminary art.
The standalone steel looks better than the briefcase steel, if that is truly what it ends up being. No more slip cover in the listing either? Hope that changes too.

I'm fairly certain this will be like the Inglorious Basterds set, same steelbook for both - stand alone & set.
And also...remember the Sherlock Holmes steelbook with the slip? Same deal - the front art on the amazon.de listing doesn't show the slip, but it's there.
No worries - I think we are OK on this one. Plus, it's very rare that we get a sneak peek like we did earlier with the slipcover images.

The covers are completely different though from the individual steel and the steel in the briefcase. It makes the most sense that both steels would be the same, it's just giving me a little doubt because they both appear completely different. The movie artwork in the briefcase is probably preliminary.
When I type in Inception Steelbook @ Amazon.co.uk, I get the same image as the one on Amazon.de, except the Brittish customerserivce can not confirm a Steelbook release because they can't "physically check the item for Steelbooks" because it's not in stock yet. Howcome Amazon.de CAN tell it will be a Steelbook then? They do not have it in stock yet either. :/
I never saw this movie , but all the hype everyone gives it makes me think I need a steel for it. Is this like a matrix or something?
I never saw it myself yet, but it's directed by Christopher Nolan and stars Leo, so it can't be bad, well at I least I hope it's not. From what I heard, it's hard to follow. Sounds intriguing though, can't wait to get it!
It's something you've never seen before. Apart from the content, the movie as a whole won't be as groundbreaking for cinema I believe, altough many others would disagree.. It's simply awesome.
