The amazon jp artwork is good but the poor quality matte finish makes it look mushy. Not a camera friendly Stteelbook at all in my opinion in comparison to the Futureshop Steelbook.

I prefer the original German version. Don't think the white really suits this version of Inception.

I agree, the white coloring doesn't fit the image, and it's only going to be a 1 disc version. It's a darn shame Warner didn't go with the Premium digibook picture, insted they decided to recycle an old image and somehow made it look ugly.

Well, looks like I'm going to have to track down the 2 disc German version or the Japan version.

With that large blue banner at the top I think it looks horrible!! Definite no,no for me.

It could be a slip like Sherlock Holmes - Game of Shadows (Also a Warner Bros. release).

I'm willing to bet it's a slip at the top. Don't panic lol.

This is one I would have actually got in the white as well when the price dropped.

Not a fan of that artwork - although it isn't one I recognise from any of the other worldwide releases.

I won't be ordering still. White looked better and least looked different to all other versions.

I only have Heat on order from this wave.

If you think about it, Inception has never been available in white, even in Japan.

I might be wrong, but all other Warner releases should be ok. Inception didn't have similar artwork to the others any way (300, Heat, Matrix, etc).

Im just surprised at such a late change. Literally only a few days before official release.

I'm guessing that they only realised after getting these in. Still, should have sent out an e-mail to customers asking them if they want them.

Also guessing there will be a lot of returns for this.

I think this is very strange to change the colour, especially as the spine still shows as white in the picture. I'm not sure why they have done this?

And that artwork is similar to the German 1st release (think only the Image is a bit larger!)... But that "curved" banner HAS to be the J-card!!!

But DEFINETELY pass!!! The white one would have been great...
