i just got my copy and it looks like there's a disc on the outside of the metal box underneath the cardboard. anyone knows what it is?

Yup, every copy left at every store I have been to are damaged with dents or some other defect. :/

Same here all the copies of these at my local FS store seemed to have imperfections here and there.

I thought the Vivas were a little tougher to damage...but I'm sure you can ding anything if you try hard enough!

The jury is still out on these for me. The seem to be brighter & open/close better, but they feel, dunno, a little plastic-y to me. Love "The Incredibles" artwork, though!

And once again Drum is right. If you see someone selling it for $60 shipped (which I really doubt you'll see on eBay), he's mot making a penny, maybe even losing money on it.
