The thing that pisses me off is when you see someone on the other forum open a GB for this and had 20 copies available and I was an unlucky one that could not get one yet. I know there will be cancellations soon but that is not the point. This is complete BS and should not be tolerated. We place orders for 5 and get shut down where he places this many and no makes a profit. He also has 10 of Temple of Doom as well. There are people over there that state they are going to inform Zavvi and complain.

Zavvi is fully aware of how fast these sold out, and I believe they are discussing options of what to do and how to handle things right now.

I'm so glad these are happening again! I've had all 3 on pre-order since last year but with my Card details changing I didn't want to risk having any issues, so I've re-ordered them again and cancelled last years pre-orders.

Just need KOTCS to go Live now to complete the set.

What can Zavvi do however?

Place a strict limit of one per customer?
Look at peoples order history and give those who have ordered a lot of steelbooks first choice?

Maybe after X days pepole can order a 2nd or 3rd customer, so the limit only applies for the first week.

Of course any limits can be got around just have multiple accounts with Zavvi.

You mean as a service to our members, that includes vetted and approved traders only, and all proceeds above cost (GB fees) go to keeping the lights on?

But you can be nearly 100% sure there will be cancelled orders and these will become available to order at some stage

I wonder how many people who had not cancelled last years orders still went ahead and re ordered to be safe they got their order in

There could end up a lot of stock become available when customers cancel last years orders and don't want to risk having to pay twice

I believe they have cancelled bulk orders before - folks that have ordered above 5, which goes against their terms of service.

Crystal Skulls would end up as sold out but would take longer to sell out compared to the first 3 movies
I would buy it so I had all 4
Even though I already have the box set

A suggestion for Crystal Skull is include the bonus disc from the box set or previous Crystal Skull bonus disc as the box set is missing some of that disc extras
That would incourage a faster sell out


As then you would have the same discs content as the box set or previous 2 disc release of Crystal Skull Blu-ray

Either way I will be purchasing if released Crystal Skull so I have all 4 steelbooks

It went live at 4am. I got up at 5am. It was sold out. I ain't mad home skillet. I'm not upset. I know the game home boy. It ain't my first rodeo. But initially I was ticked off by missing out, Brodyham. Get it? And guess what? If u missed out, u would be ticked off too.

I probably would be.. just from your post it seemed like the frustration was directed at a circumstance outside your control.

Anyway I do hope u get it. Since you have 3x copies of the first one - i'm sure you could find folks that bought multiples of Doom or Raiders and missed out on yours. It would be easy to workout a trade with them and then you can have all 3 and they would also get something they missed out on

I quite like the religious subtext of Raiders of the Lost Arc ...its probably what gives the story its sense of real weight and legitimacy ...the sequels are like fluff in comparison :movie:
