Great! Now I have to spend the next 4 days refreshing my search for 'Indiana Jones' at Zavvi until the pre-orders show up.

This and Star Wars are my all-time favorite movie series. So psyched they are both getting SteelBook releases...

Awesome, glad its UK exclusive, how well Zavvi handle the packadging side of things is yet to be seen especially when theses are all bond to sell out and they can't risk returns for damaged copies!! Love the vintage artwork, hope they use some classic images on the back too

German is what I'm hoping for, too
Not for me, but if I want to watch the movie with friends/family, it's always good to have the German audio on the disc.

The disc will be identical to the one from the recent box set, it would make no sense to author a new one.

Its zavvi.
Fail on every count. Customer service is non existent. Packaging improvement ? I'll believe that when I see it and dont get me started on their delivery times.
I could cry that they seem to be the choice of distribution.

I reckon they deserve a second chance. This time last year Play were the villain and they pulled it out the hat with some of the best packaging going.

Zavvi look to be picking up where Play left off and I'm keen to see if they turn over a new leaf in the process. The releases they have announced so far are pretty awesome to say the least and they would be stupid to throw a good thing away by continuing with poor packaging

With Wreck and HDN talking to Zavvi I have every confidence in them getting this right. Better packaging = less issues = less reason to contact their CS dept = happier collectors

As for delivery times, just pretend the release date is 2 weeks later than what they print :p

'Packaging will be taken care of'? Wow, if you managed to convert Zavvi, you're truly are a force to be reckoned with!

If you would have been here last year around this time you would have seen everyone moaning about Play.com's steelbook packaging. Myself and representative of Play made it our mission to get packaging changed. It didnt happen over night, but within a couple months it was all in place and those little white boxes were born. There was even a thank you note written on the box in generic form that said "thanks to the usual forums". The representative wished it could have said hidefninja.com but many times Companies dont like to promote other avenues ... so you know how it goes.

Case in point I have been conversing again and I know a lot about what is going on in regards to upcoming packaging. Its coming ... no different then me saying these Indy steels are coming. Myself and others who wish to remain nameless are on a mission to bring this new packaging. We got the line scratch spines cut down to about 0 there for a while but they are now starting to show their heads again ... Another battle I'm always on and trying to educate those in the line.

While I dont get tired of going to bat for the entire steelbook community. (no matter what forum(s) they partake in) I do sometimes grow tired of the doubters ... but in the words of Stan Lee ... many times over I turn them into True Believers!
