I could be completely wrong, but I don't think these will sell out any time soon. It's different when there is just one steel to buy. So unlike with Roger Rabbit, those willing to buy multiple copies would have to buy 6 (or 8 if we count crystal skull) steelbooks just to have a second of each.

Your average collector might be willing to pay ~ £30 for two copies of an awesome steel. I highly doubt they will pay £90 for 2 of each of these.

Hopefully I'm wrong :naughty:

I think you underestimate the lengths we will go to for Steel... I've easily done in waaaay more than that on many orders (trying to calm it down a bit now though). :)

Ive currently got 3 of each ordered, only because of the packaging issue but now Zavvi has rectified this I should really cancel and order just 1 of each!

Another thing to bear in mind is that WFRR is a Blu-Ray debut. The Indy movies are reissues without the bonus disc, so it might be less appealing to double dippers.
An extra thousand copies is quite a lot when you consider it, but I've preordered to be on the safe side. I would be very surprised if they sell as well as the WFRRs have sold on Ebay, if you are into that sort of thing.

Yes but you also have to consider how popular the title is. Just by looking at the response to this thread (number of thanks on the OP and the number of posts) you can see that this is a much more popular title than 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' I'm not sure this will be the most popular Steelbook ever but I'm certain it will sell out before release.

the vast majority of people however, is happy with their boxsets or even collectors edition, reducing the demand for this significantly

I am really new to the steelbook game and managed to pre-order quite a few steelbooks!! My first ever pre-order was the Skyfall Steelbook release (managed to avoid all the hullabaloo). I pre-ordered this trilogy straight away as it is one of my favourite trilogies ever. Thanks to the OP for the heads up, or I would never have pre-ordered!!! :D :scat:
