He's moving house I gather. Long distance too. That takes time out.

I hope it goes well for him, shame zavvi dont remember they listed these. It does feel like these are thd forgotten ones especially when zavvi are listing for october and beyond

ordered the first three, but since ordering the credit card i used has been replaced with a new number, the new card number has been registered as my replacement but does anybody know if i would still get them, whenever they become available, as i don't think you can alter payment details with zavvi without cancelling the order and starting again ???

I think they would try using the card you originally ordered them with. You need to contact them and ask them about the order.

Can't wait for these to go live as passed on them last time and have been regretting it since. Hold we have some info yo confirm end of September as previous info lends us go believe.

Every time I see this goddamn thread with new posts, I pray for some info but nooooo....:-(

Yeah, me too. And then just to see posts like "Glad I pre-ordered", "this is a must have" or "I hope they go live soon" almost makes me angry... (I did that myself now...)

While we wait for the steelbook, I notice that bbc one hd will be showing this on sat 6.30pm, in the uk. Maybe they will show the lot but there was no series link option when I set up my recording.

I currently have the first 3 pre ordered, but will probably cancel if zavvi decide to increase the print from 4000. Sept and oct are heavy months and I just need an excuse to cancel.

Zavvi advertised these as a 4k print run and took orders on that basis. If Zavvi up the numbers, then a call to trading standards tends to get their attention.

You could just cancel your order instead? Do you not think it is a bit pathetic for someone to contact trading standards for something so minor? Maybe you should give Watchdog a call while you're at it too.

I emailed Zavvi last week about the release dates of the Indiana Jones Steelbooks and they got back to me today. Here's what they said:

"One of our customer services advisors has reviewed your query and we are able to confirm the following:

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch about the release date of these steelbooks.

At this time it does appear that they are now fixed at 30/09/2013 however this date is still subject to change by the manufacturers.

Thanks again for getting in contact with us.

If there is anything else that we can do, then please do not hesitate to get in touch and a member of our team will be happy to help.

Kind regards,

Chris

Zavvi.com Customer Service Team"

Not sure if that helps as the date could change but I'm gearing up for end of Sept.

I am quite certain the date will change mainly because of the short notice of not going live yet. Even if the first three have limited availibility, the fourth has yet to go live.

Makes no sense.

so, if i get this right, the first three films were online already, pre-ordered by some, got cancelled in some cases, and in many others not, went inactive then...

and it's likely they get online and active for pre-order again.

right?
