Goodness gracious, it took me 5 minutes to order the lenticular slip, from 1:14 to 1:19pm, so no even a quarter-hour after it went live! My card didn't empty itself a bunch of times, the pages didn't take ages to load, payment was quick, it says "payment completed" : it's weird, it's the first time the process has been as smooth.

Too bad there's a 36.57% chance I may cancel it. I ordered to be safe, now I'll watch the trilogy within the next couple of weeks to see if I like it enough.

People bashing the Martin Scorcese film really have no clue, pardon my French. Whether or not the original film is the greatest piece of filmmaking, The Departed is absolutely brilliant, everything about it screams genius and feels "Martin Scorcese", so at the very least that's a remake done right, and after seeing the trailer and reading some reviews I'm not sure the Korean actors are as charismatic as DiCaprio/Damon/Nicholson/Wahlberg/Sheen, that it's as suspenseful or as well directed (the trailer may have been poorly done as the film had a bit of a campy look, also the image was blue), that Scorcese's film avoided some mistakes (e.g: with the therapist) and if half of the fans of the first film admit that the sequels are kind of bad / useless, then is it worth it to pay €58.31?

I love lenticulars in general and I LOVE the lenticular, but I will most definltely watch the films very soon to make up my mind . Hopefully it's not too much of a hassle to cancel.

Bring on Perfume (awesome artwork all around, I should check ot the film if the ending is as polarizing and potentially ridiculous as you all have been saying), Memento (now that is an awesome film but hopefully they'll pick better art than what's been suggested, at least may Kimchi NOT use B or C), and the bloodbath that will be Iron Man.

Yes, I'm a big Drive fan but we're 99% sure Mondo is doing a glossy UK steelbook for this soon, and the chances for it to be awesome (and cheaper than Kimchi's, and easier to get) are about 100%, so if I have to double dip (I already have the French Drive), I will only get the Mondo one (I love Drive and I love steelbooks but not enough to triple-dip!).

Ordered a full slip. Sort of wanted to get a lenticular, but getting both was just too expensive right now.

I had decided beforehand that I was going for full slip & if not would try and get the lenticular. Knowing that I can have both I was tempted but for the same reason I can't justify another $59.99.

Yes but they did the artwork for Enders Game UK Steelbook. I am also tempted to pick up both the full slip and lenticular but it's not cheap. I settled on the full slip but I am seriously tempted with the lenticular! I don't know if I can justify paying that much again though.

I think if the price was lower I would have gone for both. We all have to budget & I do like the Lenticular but in reality it's a lot to pay for the same steel with an extra slipcover.
I have the same struggle with Amelie I bought Lenti B but my reckless side wanted the tripack but I resisted

Yesterday I been thinking whcih version to buy, like fullslip and lenti from pictures here so I had a dilemma, well but when I would have been sleeping on the money I would have no dilemma and I would buy all available editions...but there is not so beautiful and in the sheer volume of new releases from kimchi or blufans it is necessary to choose this what most falls to your taste.

I compared my fullslips of The Pianist and The Wresler with lenti editions from Kimchi, and I decidet to buy from now only fullslip editions not because lentis look worse but because fullslips are more complete and for the eye they have more overall collectible look.

So I buy this trilogy with fullslip together with Amelie fullslip And yesterday I was able to get from member here Rush full slip which I missed while have it in card lakie many others here So from now for future releases I will go for fullslips from Kimchi (not for all like Snowpiercer because I don't like movie) and for lenti maybe I'll make an exception for Drive and Iron Man but firts have to see some pictures.
But there is no need to buy all the editions, the most sensible is to buy the one that suits you best!

Plus who cares if it does not sell out straight away!? That should not be the reasoning behind purchasing this amazing collectors edition......

Beautiful high quality slip box, amazing lenticular, high gloss finish steel, goodies, numbered, and three amazing films. What's not to like?

Also I think it's great to have something different for a change. Rather than the usual dross we get again and again. Yes the price is higher, but it's for three films remember!!

On one hand I'm a completist who desires to own every Kimchi exclusive (of which I have already missed enough of), on the other hand, like many others said, it's a bit of a high price for a blind buy, and it's money I actually shouldn't be able to spend. How long does it take for a refund to get to you upon cancellation? And does anyone know where I could (preferably) legally stream the movies to check them out first?

Read quite a few comments that the price is too high. But it's 3 movies and yet Snowpiercer was all gone at $47 for one movie.

Before this release, I had been wanting this trilogy in blu-ray. Was hunting in the shops and was told it was sold out and that I could have it imported for something like $72. I then went on Internet to look for it and found Yesasia selling it at $71, and kimchi had the normal box set at $52 but sold out. When this exclusive came out at a listed price of $73, I balked at it too. But now that it's available at $60 in an extras-filled package and a fabulous lenticular or slipcover, I couldn't hesitate anymore.

If you ever want to watch and own this trilogy, even if it is just part 1, I would say this is your best chance.

I seem to remember Choi also saying this for Rush and Snowpiercer... and look what happened to them!


I don't think it hurts to have an order limit just for 1 day. After that go nuts and sell 10x copies per member. The important thing is to guarantee those who really want a copy, get one.
