I seem to remember Choi also saying this for Rush and Snowpiercer... and look what happened to them!

I don't think it hurts to have an order limit just for 1 day. After that go nuts and sell 10x copies per member. The important thing is to guarantee those who really want a copy, get one.

+1 MOST DEFINITELY

I know LOTS of people who have already given up on the idea to collect all Kimchi SteelBook
releases due to their crappy servers collapsing all the time and having lost out on several releases because of that... I think that´s definitely also partially responsible why this hasn´t sold out yet

Ok so this is still in stock.

I decided I had to skip this one before it went live but if this is still not OOS in let's say 6 hours I'm not sure I could hold back anymore. I'm not that strong! :p

So, get this beauty OOS asap! ;)

get it ,Buddy-you want it,you know it;):hilarious:

I did said it would not be sold out quickly as all guys expected. No limitation for order will be fine with this, perfume and memento.

A limitation for the Day 1 would be fine, and then open the Gates on day 2.

Having an order limit in place kept out the bulk buyers and enabled everyone, who only wanted one or two copies, to place their orders with relative ease. I doubt that would have been the case without the order limit.

So, as far as future Kimchi exclusives are concerned, please keep an order limit in place for the first 24 hours to enable serious collectors to obtain their copies. After that, the limit can be lifted and the bulk buyers will be free to scoop up the remainder.

Choi do you know how long the promotional pre order price of $59.99, lasts?

I believe that price is in place until release day, or like the day before as only release day it will no longer be a pre-order.

Cheers

Only guarantees in life are death, taxes, and that I will always be the one, the only, CrashKelly :naughty:

The price can actually change anytime. Other exclusives had promotional pricing in the beginning and within a day or two or even a week, price was bumped up to the advertised price.

By the time I will want to get this it will have to be an ebay job I reckon unless there are some still in stock which I think there might but will be a close one if so.

This is not of high priority for me either. I will probably end up getting this from evilbay as well. Be great if it is still available in a couple of months time from Kimchi.

I think ebay prices on this will probably be close to or under retail anyway. 2.3k of such a limited appeal release is too many IMO. I'd expect this one to be easily available one way or another for quite some time.

I am bothered by the fact that the lenticular slip edition only gets a 16-page booklet while the full slip version gets a 36-page booklet.

Why wouldn't they include the same booklet with the lenticular?

And wouldn't the heavier booklet make the full slip version heavier, yet it indicates on the order page that both editions are 600g and the shipping charge is the same for both.

The full slip edition is more of a box that will house the booklet and steel separately, whereas the lenticular with be snug to the steelbook with the smaller artbook probably IN the steel itself. The larger booklet would not fit inside the steel - hence why the lenti has a smaller version.

As for the weight thing - a fullslip box generally weighs less than a lenti cover (which is reasonably thick) so the bigger artbook probably balances it out.

The shipping weights are just estimates by kimchi. The actual package, including the box, weighs much less and we still get charged the higher shipping amount. The actual postal weight is stamped on the package we receive.

The lenticular is a slip over cover over the steelbook. There's nothing to stop kimchi from making a bigger cover to slip over both the steelbook and booklet attached to the back. I suspect having different booklets is just a ploy to get people to buy both versions.

Bingo. That is what I suspect also but I am not falling for this ploy, if it is indeed that.

The first day ordering limitation is a great idea. I was in favour of a VIP system, but I can see the flaws in that suggestion. Like somebody above pointed out, the first 24/48 hours everybody is limited to one copy, after that order 20 if you like. I really like this approach.
