I'm seeing several new, what looked to be multiple accounts emanating from Taiwan in all the GB's all opened late last week. I've contacted site management. We need the 30 non spamming post reinstated to prevent possible abuses of the GB system.

I agree. I also think that in an ideal world, there is a limit per IP address or household. It will stop people creating duplicate accounts under an alter ego, such as a friend, relative, spouse etc.

There are genuine cases, but it seems it's always more a "family affair" or "friends with benefits" situation come GB time. Pure greed.

By my count it appears that one Taiwanese individual has claimed around 9 each of the Lenticular, Full slip and 1/2 slip and 3 box sets just for Interstellar.
That's around 30 copies for eBay.

after COMITTING to gb, then realizing its a few quids cheaper elsewhere: "oops wrong thread.. Please ignore"

Or my favorite: "my other copies were for "friends" who are too stupid to create an account here and order by themselves.. Dont know what to tell them now.. They probably break my legs now"

This is what you do. When you get your HDzeta Interstellar box set, fondle it and admire it when wifie isn't home. But do not open it. Then hide it away some place where she cannot find it. When Christmas comes, wrap it up and put it under the Christmas tree -- way in the back. Label it "To Obi Wan Dandobi: Merry Christmas! From Santa!"

Problem solved! Wifie won't be able to beotch at you at all.

You hit the nail on the head This was always one boxset per order and only on the GB page (when the order went live) did that change in error. You suddenly had a chance of being able to order 3 and suddenly, purchasing 2 or 3 was the plan all along - sure

The amount of "Oops wrong thread, ignore post" (post edited after HD Zeta started accepting orders) is a joke. I had the HD Zeta order screen in front of me, but as I had committed to the GB, I did the right thing and honoured my order. Yes, the GB will cost me £10 more, but I stick by my commitments. Hopefully the MODs/GB host look at this, as the rules for the GB were very clear.

I'm guilty of doing that. The items were not live on the website at the time of the HDN GB's. I didn't want to risk not having a copy so I was one of the early posts in the thread. Once the items eventually went live on the website I modified my post on the GB thread for the Lenti & Full slip as I noticed they hadn't been closed yet, so I assumed my spots would easily be taken by others seeking a copy - no big deal.

Worst case scenario, if the host feels as if i've committed a sin and decides that my punishment is banning me from his future GB's. I'll pay him for a copy of the lenti & full slip.

The difference is that you haven't opened multiple accounts with bogus names in order to secure extra copies.
