The disc for Iron Man 1 is definitely region free - I've tried that one before.

I can only imagine that the 2nd one is the same.

Which is better than Paramount's Dolby TrueHD Version? You do realize that the Concorde DTS HD-MA is "only" 16Bit and Paramount's is 24Bit, right?

With decent Speakers the Difference is mind boggling....

Besides that, Concordes Version has german Subs authored in (not forced subs like by French TF1), but the scene in the Cave (Part 1) and the Scene in Whiplash's Apartment (Part 2) where foreign Languages are being spoken, the subs are german, even if you're watching in English. Maybe not a "major" Issue to some, but THAT drives me up the wall!!!!!!!

Relax, just never have been a fan of Dolby. And thanks for clearing up the subtitle issues. That was not enjoyable to say the least.
But a great buy for a steelbook collector like myself.

Hey Snow,

I'm talking about "Burned in" Subs that are authored into the Film. They cannot be adjusted by the remote, as there is no Menu Point for them ;-)

i know what your saying baron,but you can change the subs to english.like on this iron man 2 disc at the start of the film in the apartment with whiplash.you can change the subs to english using the subtitle button on your blu-ray remote,they are not burned in.and the english subs will only come up when you need them.try it,you will be pleasantly surprised

True for IM2, but not for the first one and most of all other Concorde Releases

I still call it shoddy authoring, as a menu at the begining for the Language is an absolute Must when burned in Subs are being used....

I just purchased this for full price (31,08 eur) yesterday. I read up that amazon doesn't do post-purchase price matching anymore. They haven't shipped yet and I sent them an e-mail requesting a refund for the difference. Is there any hope for me? I feel like a chump.

Just took out the disc and played again, found out the IronMan2 disc can't display subtitle for English. I choose the Eng subtitle and it can't show up.
Anyone having this issue ? Or just Me ?

As long as it hasn't shipped or gone to "preparing to ship", you have a chance.
But in my experience, they only answer my message AFTER it ships when I had a couple similar situations before.
