Just received mine! Top notch packaging from JSDVD. It was surrounded by multiple layers of thick bubble wrap in a sturdy box.

And I have to agree with the other posters here. The feel of this one sealed might be the best I've ever seen. Sounds strange but the skrinkwrap feels so thick and glossy and it's perfectly wrapped. I mean... I'm not tryin to get all weird. I'm not sitting at home, rubbing it with a diaper like a freakin quack. It's just a steelbook... but I guess I didn't realize that such quality wrap could make such a difference in how it feels in hand.

I am not big on foreign text, and I don't have a 3D setup, so I probably won't have this be for my personal collection, but I am really glad I ordered it, for the collectibility aspect alone.

Very well done, Taiwan.

Assuming 'quack' means Doctor on both sides of the pond I'm even more confused...'the **** does that mean? :wtf::wtf:

ahh now I get it.
Still, diapers (or nappies as they are more commonly known in the UK) are used for a babies poop/pee, so to be rubbing a steel with even an unused one of those seemed extremely weird....hence why I had to ask. lol
Plus the fact that at least for the last 30 years, cloth versions have rarely been used and have been mostly phased out by the store bought, disposable versions make it seem all the more odd and random a statement....so that, along with the UK slang term for Quack meaning doctor, had your statement about the IM3 steel, reeking of all kinds of weird. lol :hilarious:

Got mine today. It was my first time ordering from JSDVD including a Jack Reacher steelbook and a Real Steel one. Very pleased with the retailer and the steelbook of IM3 as it has been mentioned numerous times wreaks of quality. :scat:

Wish all the steelbooks were that good. The only reason my order was delayed to ship was that Real Steel wasn't available and JSDVD held onto shipping it till it was available again.

Got mine (with mug) today, via YesAsia. Well packed, mug didn't break and didn't damage the steelbook.

Nice looking steel & slip

Bud it was supposed to be weird. That was the point. ever seen the movie Se7en, with Brad Pitt? When he talks about a nutbag in the corner with his grandma's panties over his head rubbing himself with peanut butter. That's pretty strange, no?

If you love something so much, that you just don't know what else to do, so you rub it with a diaper, it's like you are obsessed with it so much that it's weird. I'm not sure, but I think the "rub it with a diaper" expression came from car enthusiasts that love their car so much and they are always waxing it with a cloth and just obsessed with that.

Anyway... enough of all it. Back to the steel... I think this Taiwan one might be the best version. Some are excited about the corrected Korean one, but to be honest, I would have been far more excited about the "Type A" if really was front and back switched. I think it looks way better with that back cover photo on the front. Oh well.

Had a real issue with my IM3 order. Was stuck in customs from the 29th. Got a letter today asking me for £145 from Parcelforce even though I only ordered 2 steels without the mug.

Turns out the Customs declaration had them listed at $820!!!

Sent them an email so hopefully they can get hold of customs to straighten it out.

I'd assume they're thinking that's USD and not TWD?
