Just noticed this too, it seems Zavvi have took notice of one of the minor complaints on here

The amount of hate new members get can be pretty ridiculous at times. Are they supposed to think up 30 meaningful posts about steelbooks before they get trade/groupbuy access? I can quite confidently say that no long serving members didn't spam a few times to get to 30 posts.

And we're all a bit guilty of leaving pointless comments, regardless if we're new or not. My favourites are "looking forward to this" and the all time classic "ordered". Both kinda pointless that would be labeled as "spam" if posted by a new member.

Anyway my point is, i agree that some comments can be annoying, but we were all new members at one point, so cut them some slack. It's just a forum about steelbooks remember!

It doesn't have to be a meaningful post but posting "ordered" and "can't wait" or asking about when it will go live after 40 others have already is not beneficial to a discussion in any way, shape or form. If newbies want to join a steelbook forum, surely they WANT to join in and contribute properly rather than spamming!

I wasn't having a go, and I do agree that repetitive comments are annoying, but I was trying to make a point in that it's not just newbies who leave the pointless comments
