Before you complain about not getting a superfluous DVD, consider how many MORE steelbooks are released in the UK than here in the US.

All we get are the old catalog releases and one or two Best Buy or Target releases per year. I can only imagine being able to walk in to an HMV store and browse steelbooks.

Believe me HMV isnt all that impressive with there steelbooks.

It's bloody annoying, thats why I import region free titles, I get the DVD too.
The studio's needs to stop treating the UK like a 2nd rate market and charging twice the price for our efforts

The US disney 3D viva packs from last year - Avengers/Brave/Nemo etc for example - should be the prototype new 3D movie UK steel releases are based on

They dont really count - Play isnt a retailer anymore, its a marketplace (also online only, no physical stores)

Sainsburys has limited selection of movies, especially instore. We're lucky to see a top 40 selection in stores and to this day I've NEVER seen a steel in there. Asda had stocked a few in the past - I remember getting Sweeney Todd in Asda years ago, but they still have extremely limted stock selection

It's not so much 'come to talk' but spam with loads of random comments. It has become the dumping ground for newbies. I don't think it should be locked though as like you say we will get more info soon and the mods aren't always online to post it.
