It seems that you were the only one who analysed my wording.
But yes, you got me on that. I just wanted to be polite by saying "IMO". You never know if there is still someone who thinks that consumers shouldn't get the maximum package for their money, although it is a fact for the majority.

I like the JB HiFi cover. I hope they keep that one as its currently listed as not finalised and if they do keep it, then that will be the order for me. Not this one. Zavvi rapidly GOING DOWNHILL in my estimations.

All this talk got me thinking that I wanted to switch to the Italian version too. I just ordered it and cancelled ONE of my 2 orders with Zavvi. Do we suspect that the Italian version will be embossed as well (identical to Zavvi except for discs?)

That's what's to be believed so far I think. I don't see why it wouldn't be embossed like this Zavvi exclusive, but I could be wrong.

I still have both preorders going for this and the Italian version. I am still waiting for more artwork confirmation on the Italian one before I cancel my order with Zavvi. If it turns out that the Italian steelbook is not embossed, I will prolly get the Zavvi one and buy the american 3D amaray with slip also so I have the 3D version (even though I hear it's rubbish).

Cancelled my extra copies and will stick with the Italian version.
Zavvi are taking the piss for a non-3D, single disc edition. Happy to pay a couple of quid more for a 3D copy.

It's a worldwide steelbook release with a shared print run, and only "exclusive" in the sense that it is only available to buy from zavvi for ppl in the UK - so i expect the Italian edition to be exactly the same, except of course that it comes with a 2nd disc containing the 3D version of the film

I just cancelled my order. There is no reason why I should pay $40CAD for a movie I didn't like that much, has non-exclusive artwork, and comes only with one disc. I don't have the first or the second so there is no point really.

I'm also wondering why people are buying multiple copies? With a worldwide release it won't be as easy to offload spare copies like the first 2 Iron Man Steelbooks as these weren't available outside the UK and were much more sought after by international cillectors.

Good call mate. They really should change the listing details to indicate 2 discs then.

that bit confuses me too....but even if both 2D/3D are on same disc - in the same vein as Avatars recent release - I'm all good for keeping my Italian order

I agree, I'd be happy for it all to be on 1 disc just as long as it has both 2D and 3D not to fussed about special features as I will never watch them.

I would rather have a 2D only than have a 3D/2D 1 disc. 3D and 2D from one encode, no thanks.
